    Space Marine Help

    Hey guys, here's a recent piece i'm working on, i will be away from it for a few days, and thought that i should get some input before continiuning.

    Anyways fire away with crits and ideas.

    It's a Warhammer 40K piece.

    If I recall the figures that I had played with, the head was little bit bigger. I dont know if it changd since, but maybe the head of the character is a wee bit little. Other than that quite a nice piece.

    Nah, I like the small head. Definitely part of the concept art style at any rate. It's that left arm that bothers me. Too straight and skinny; it doesn't convey the sense of an appropriate range of motion. And the shape in the lower left is confusing, but that's obviously unfinished so its not a real issue. Other than that, its coming along nicely.

    That aside - The arm really needs to be brought back into line with the rest of the prospective physiology of the space marine. GW space marines are genetically boosted and juiced to insane size which allows for some artistic liberties with head size, but remember that a hypertrophied but essentially proportionately consistent body occupies the rest of the suit.

    neoknocker- Thanks, and yeh the head is small like because it makes the marine look a lot bigger.
