Another one, this is a sketch i did of the old snake as Yoji Shinkawa painted him (i love mgs, and its artwork

). so this is kinda a tribute to Solid Snake, since mgs4 will be his last mission and stuff... manipulated it in ps afterwards.

Great one on the last one, legs are tiny though, and he is very small, 8 heads man, remember that length

blanquish - i know the legs seem abit short, but my camera makes em look so small and fat, besides, the helmet is supposed to be large, like a motorcycle helmet, so it may disturb your measuring observations... or something

Hey man, welcome back! Still kick butt I see. Everything looks great, my only crit is for the Snake pic. It seems his bandana is the same tone (value?) as his skin, makes it hard to tell that it's there. Can't wait to see more!

i can see what you
mean on the Old Snake pic, but i didnt bother laying any textures at all. as
you can see on the coat he's wearing, its the same as the overall texture or
Value.

Glad you did 2 angles, looks good. Expect a Jackhammer update in my book later today.

one more before i call it for tonight: here's the ACR "FatMan", a concept
drawing of the standard rifle for the TMI units. it has two twin barells of 5.56
x 45 mm Cartridges, and a pump action shotgun of 12 Gauge shell
ammunition. the automatic firemode is similiar to the M249 SAW (Squad
Automatic Weapon), and the shotgun firemode is similiar to a 12 Gauge
shotgun today. Big guns are needed to take down the "Jackhammers"

And i also added some TMI (Terra Mobile Infantry) unit helmets (and heads),
since i didnt put a helmet on the previous design

OK, updates are on the way lads, just hang in there. i have finished a couple of sketches lately,
but the camera died just as i tried to take photos, but im reloading the batteries now,
hopefully it wont take that long.

i actualy NEVER do any studies at all. except studying other works and sketches.
and i specialy never do lifedrawings

i dont find em fun to draw.
its all about having fun for at this stage
