Looks like you had tons of fun but you need spaces for your eye to rest...

If you have everything at the same level of detail, the purpose of having detail literally gets lost...you need some balance

I hope Kara is into this kind of stuff...

Is it making up for it? well no, but after so much not drawing, it was nice to get back to my old retarded details that get lost style, to get back in the mood of things.
and kara did check out a work in progress a while ago, and she found it awesome, so i think she will like it, and if not, she will like the effort. i think
as for balance. ya i know, the smoke has 0 details, the background is not existent, etc. but i did this lazily knowing someone will handle colors.
honestly i have no exuse haha

thats actually a good thing! If you had put the same amount of details in the smoke and BG - I think my head would've exploded...

I meant balance in the detail of the character.

Im curious too see how the the colored version would be handled....

When I read the subject of your thread ,I thought of lot more blood and gore and obscenity, something like a cannibal corpse cover but its different and mindnumbingly detailed I looked at it for minutes to get a hang of it and maybe its different for the better , but I think I will try making something like I had thought of before seeing your stuff.

Genital surgeon(Sorry I overlooked your sig)... Hmm nice name for grind band, so are you a vocalist?
I am a vocalist in my band(Kahar) a brutal death project,well our band just broke so no singing or growling for me these days,and also that I am concentrating on my art and drawing .
Well I like vince's art, Its not much about the anatomy but just that its pervertishly, sickly funny.Did he do the cover for butchered at birth too cuz thats my fav. CC cover.
And now i really think more obscenity was required here ,but still its nice
keep grinding

I actually like all the detail (very Geoff Darrow), but you could stand to vary the width of your lines a bit more to make certain forms stand out. Throw some ink on that sucka!

whoa....I like the detail,man.Reminds me of an old album cover.But there is
so much detail that it takes away from the piece as a whole.it makes my
