dude. I loved you in Chips.
the lighting on the last one is real nice. These self portraits have an interesting energy to them :.
I have to say that you have a really nice, confident style here, I like the tonal studies and that last batch of self portraits have a lot of energy in them. Keep it up!

That Sherrie McGraw study is beautiful. I would love to see some more coloured pencils and graphite on toned paper from you.
I agree with Max Xiantu, these quick sketches have an interesting energy to them. I think it might be that you already have that grasp of form and value but you don't have as much pen control as pencil. Which is really good (my favorite is the first in post 244). I think that medium change pretty drastically expedites improvement. So, watercolor now.

You are someone who has been putting in his time and paying his dues and its really showing from page to page. You going to try and get into doing figurative gallery work?

So much more interesting. Great work. Self-portrait's a great step forward (gouache?). Last sketch is nice too, very sensual line. It's interesting/educational to see how our lines develop and how the differ. Keep at it.
Beautiful progress. It's good to see you trying new media and techniques constantly. Things that are missing from this thread are animals and enviros. And try some more color! You have quite a talent for value, i can't wait to see what you can do with more color. Keep up the variety and frequency!
