    Maybe it's a phase

Maybe it's a phase but I'm leaning a lot towards the B&W these past few days... I'd really really apreciate some input.

    This?

    or This?

What do you think of these?

they look cool. im a big fan of black and white. im not sure how you're doing them, but the first one loses alot of detail in the 'shadow' part on the underside of the denim. to conquer this, rather that just 'desaturate' the picture, you can play with the levels of the specific channels (red, blue etc) and so you can still keep some of the lighter values, or things like that which help the form to read.

its also suited to the picture itself. i really love that first one in colour, and i think thats because denim relies more on the colours of the yellow vs the blue and stuff like that, but also, its not really distinguishable what it is in the black and white.

again tho, i really love your stuff. and i'd love to see more. that last ones really cool. i love the surreality of the camera angle, and the sepia helps to add to the imagination.

    cool stuff
