looking good man. i like the fireman 2120- thats a long ways off! lol. its good to stretch your mind. keep practicing the basics. remember to do alot of still lifes, they are extremely useful for learning how to address form and lighting. keep pushing, im glad to see you using more graphite. as much as i adore photoshop, its still an extension of your ability to draw and fundamental understaning of form, composition, and light. drawing is the most effective tool any artist has and being good at it will carry you very far.. i noticed you did a car interior! thats awesome, they're a difficult thing to draw and it good to see you taking chances.
one small crit: be conscience of your line quality. its a difficult thing because it really only comes with practice but being aware of it helps it come faster.
take care
keep drawing

Nice job with the spaceships Dile, they're looking awsome. Id really like to see them in colour. I've noticed you have made alot of other things also but the spaceships specially look good in my opinion so far.
Id like to see more characters also sence they've got nice ideas on them also.

Hey Dile! sorry for not dropping by more often.
Really liking the sp, first I thought it was a photo - you're progressing very well buddy. Also, image40 of the last page is kickass, like that figure, the page is also devloping a nice balance.
As for crits, just keep on doing what you are doing. Start paying some more attention to composition - the sooner you develop an eye for composition, the sooner everything else will start to fall into place. Along with composition study the elements of composition - line, tone, rhythm, balance, focal point, etc. A good composition can take a bad artwork so much further!
ciao bud, keep em coming!

Duuude! you are getting more advanced in your art now i can tell. I found that life study with the jar and pipes and the shelves very inspiring. Hurri told me that if i was to do realistic art, i would draw objects i could see and touch. i guess i didnt knew what he meant back then...
See you on #conceptart someday!
Cheers man!

Hey Dile, Hows it going?
I haven't been here in a little while, so I think I owe you some crits,
First off you gotta post more! lets see some more work,. Something I think you should consider is to slow down your work pace a little bit, take your time placing your lines and like demented said develop a good composition first before you begin to shade/render.
When your sketching get a big eraser and glue it to your other hand you don't draw with, use it alot, keep erasing things when they look funky and redraw them till they look believable to you.
Practice more anatomy and studies, depending on what you want to be drawing and what you think you need work on. You should be abled to develop a pretty good picture in your mind what you want to draw, and if you can't picture how something looks, then that means you need to go get some reference and study the object. So grab some anatomy books and start figureing out in your mind how each part of the body works and moves so when you go to create your own figures you can shape them any way you want because you would have a good understanding of how it works.
Your work is amazing for your age, I would not worry about wanting critiques so much, but just keep drawing and practicing and studying how things work, and in years you will be above a professional level. If your in a slump and you don't feel like working, set some goals for yourself, like drawing an hour a day, no matter what it is or how crappy it looks, just keep yourself drawing.
Like I was saying above, slow yourself down when working, try to figure out how the object your drawing works, and how it would look, then take care drawing your lines, erase them if you don't like them, don't just settle for what came off the tip of the pencil, settle for what looks good, and most of the time you will have to erase and erase and re-draw to get it to look the way you want. Everything I just said above is all stuff I need to work too, so thank you very much for helping me as well.
Take care Dile,
Joe.
Edit: I just saw this aboveHah great! me too, what do you study? I have been practicing kung fu for 2 years." Im a martial artist besides, and doing gymnastics 4-5 times a week"
Those last few look great, but where you at?
Just so I don't comment without leaving a crit, I think you could use some work on your line quality.

Nice stuff going on here. Nose is looking a little flat in that last piece.
Keep up the work!
Stop bumping this until it's updated, dammit!
Some lovely loose work. With the added genius of getting all the detail in. Thats my problem I try to work too much into my designs which in turn takes a lot of time. Any hints on keeping it nice quick and free flowing
