Wow, so awesome. Why aren't you finishing the TC entry? Definitely got a good chance of winning if you finish. And you definitely have the time.

Nice studies! I like the second one a lot. The first one is a little weaker--has some proportion issues (leg too long) and the fact that it isn't very saturated (especially when placed next to the second drawing) means that it looks a bit dead.

Amazing work Dile I really love where you heading with all your stuff. I especially like those bolder strokes in the second life painting, its pretty sweet.
I had a look through your portfolio and its giving me a good inspiration boost! Keep up the good work.

PHATandy: thanks man, very honoring to hear that!! =D

soo.. girlfriend is on vaccation, i'm done with work, and I didn't attend school today so i got time to sit down and paint for myself hahah.

I also ordered 4 new books.. color & light by james gurney, the art of tangled (As recommended by Ross Tran or Rossipoo on the forums), and two other books by a swedish artist named Lars Lerin who does some really sweet watercolor paintings! so i'm also sitting here waiting for those to arrive

    anywayyyy..
heres a new piece, not sure whatever its final.. i'm getting a bit tired of it..

Woah, fucking beautiful man. Maybe try putting in some tiny bits of really dark colours/black. This may help:
    http://conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=148355

Right now your environment looks great, but i think punching in some real dark values would make it amazing.
