Hey thx for ur input darktwin! its nice to hear from someone alot better than I am my self!
heres some new studd I did at the buss (or I had about 10 - 15 minutes)
so I hurried, and happend to fill almost 3 pages (almost,almost 3 pages)
but Im just showing those 2 best ones... why I not display all 3 of em is because
the first one was very very shaky, and most doddlings

20 min, I just liked it, I know the perspective isnt that good at the roof, but I like it

heres a speedie, I havent use any other colors than black and white on this one
I started out with 40% black, then I used the color picker in PScs2
Im just trying to find faster techniques to draw/paint

i really like ur latest work, can c that u are improving a lot with the digital, when i get my mac and my own ps ( couple of days now ) then il do some practice with the digital too, at the time im mostly into anatomy studies and unserious doodles. anyways keep em coming dude =)

Btw: I have set up a new goal for next week, (since Im free completly free next week )
and the goal will be to draw 60+ pages (in my "real" sketchbook of coures)

good progression with the tablet, I like the reflection on the car and the concept of the character below, I'm really liking your dedication. Don't stop, your improving. Also, I like that your pushing yourself for next week, 60+ pages is a lot espescially if you have other obligations for the week. maybe it would be better if you made your goal based on time, and not on the quantity of pages. Either way its really awesome that your pushing yourself. Keep em coming Dile,

yeah. but 60+ pages is about 7-9 pages per day,
and my normal is about 4-5 pages per day, so the difference isnt that much.
the only difference would be that i will post every one of those 60+ pages here
on Conceptart.org

cool quick sketch, I only wish there was alittle more contrast with the lighting. You make a valid point about drawing quick studies, but also its good for you to do longer studies aswell. Just to mix it up abit, longer and shot studies you know. my 2 cents,

Oooh I really like the guy in armour in the last one! The detail is pretty cool. I'm also really like the sword here - the texture, lighting and the way its reflecting makes it very believable as smooth metal.

Careful with your proportions though, especially with the legs and the size of the head.

Congrats on making it to 3 pages so quickly, and good luck on your 60 page quest!

ehm, that cause Im drawing alot
I will have 10 pages in no time (with alittle help from you guys )
In fact after sitting down in 2 hours yesterday drawing , doddling and painting
I realise that 60 pages isnt that much..
I have done another 12 pages today, Im going to post em tonight after installing my scanner (I think I get more of my values registred with the scanner)
and untill that I think i can draw like 5 pages more...
so 9+ 12 + 5 = 26 thats like the half "assignment" in 2 days...

Alot of sketches in here. What I would like to see is more anatomy studies. I noticed your skulls, I would like to see some longer/harder studies with understanding of the planes and structures. I think the character you posted today is looking pretty interesting. For your z brush stuff, it would be cool to see a figure modelled, that would give you alot to think about for anatomy and forms which would help out for your drawings. I noticed the z brush hand, even though its not complete, I would like to see it done more and when you do it, study your own hand, take your other finger and try to feel out the forms of the hand. I hope that helps.

That first Zbrush attempt (i really dont know what Zbrush is 3D program or somthing?) looks pretty cool actually!
I agree on Matt Smith, but i do like ur characters aswell and i really think you shouldnt leave your imagination behind and only do anatomystudies.

to do a 3D/Zbrush character (but hey, I have only used zbrush 2 times )
It was more a kinda test I did yesterday,
and about Anatomy studies, I try to put alot of it into my 60 pics quest
(wich IM going to post as soon as Im home)
Lewis: I dont thing Matt Smiths purpose was that i would only do Anatomy for the rest of my life so of coures I will do characters , space ships, other studies as well

from my perspective perspective is a point of view but the human has two visual points of view the they have to make sense of so as you create an image and alter the camera's perspective by what is eye movement and head movement the piece becomes your piece and not an exact cope of what is one perspective teck 3 point perspective is done by creating three vanishing points but really there are an infinite number of vanishing points in all directions that need to be considered I say this because you mentioned you perspective was off indeed you perspective was what it was and that made the car unique

Hey Dile, that's some nice stuff you have here, good job. All these things about sketchbooks makes me want to make one but I'm too hipnotized by video games...I need to snap out of it
I see you also have to improve anatomy, huh? well, you're not alone, if that makes you feel better
Reading you sketchbook, I saw you talked about assignement and things like that. You take art classes? or you're in an art school maybe?- which would be very great for your age
anyway, good job, I personnaly like the helicopter you made on page 2. even if it is from ref, you made it really nicely I think.

I just wanted to ask how long it takes you per sketch. I'm getting the feeling you rush your pencil studies a little bit (since i'm very guilty of it myself!).

Well. I spended some more time on those last 1-60 pages...
but most doddles take about 10 seconds - 1 min.. and if I choose to detail them I can spend up to 5- 10 minutes.. this last Traditionaly piece took me around 20 minutes to fill the paper
