Henchman 21: why thank you. I'm sure I'm not all that though. still I am tenacious and trying hard every day.

    Hybrid_75: something else.

inverse catheter: cheers! great fun making these. Just need to find the time to work some up into realisations of wierdness in my usual fashion. I'm a bit burned out from a hard fortnight of semi-crunch so I might take break tonight and have a try tomorrow.

thanks for the kind words! I shall post some more things as the weekend progresses.

half hour zbrush doodle - i made a new base model (very low res)

this one has the usual proportion issues, but I guess more practise will help with that.

I really must learn how you get such nice hard edges on your forms, I have trouble with that...perhaps it has something to do with me sucking at the values knowledge heh.

Some crazy critter designs being fleshed out which are awesome!

iolarnula: i dunno if im all that good at it (more often its happenng on its own rather than with anygrand plan of mine) but I just think of sculpting with the light/dark. I work with 3d a lot at work so maybe some useful stuff has rubbed off - dunno.

I am lazy at thinking beyond the basic lighting though, no fancy setups, and not a lot of bounced light/realism in that way. Another thing to add to my list of things to work on.

    cheers for the comments

hi - I just wanted to say I really like you creature doodles.
They actually freak me out! And that's a good thing. I don't think I've seen creature designs that actually creep me out like that before - Good stuff!

Perspective looks a little crazy on the first ship illustration (or that could be something to do with its hyperspace location heh?) but otherwise nice DSGs, I should get back into those.

The latest bounty hunter there looks great, a bit of a departure from your usual palette and style somewhat? Sweeeeet

william b. hand - heh heh thanks, it will help me I am sure. I hit 30 the other day and I have renewed vigour in improving myself over the next 5 years! I wanna get good before it's too late!

iolarnula - yeah its googly perspective (wide-angle) but I would imagine it is accurate-ish as it's a paintover of a 3d block though - super-fast style. thanks for the comments!

    sanxavier - cheers!
