well, lets see how often i keep this up. for now i'm gonna post my t-dome sketches and wips, maybe some other things when i can. so here we go.

t-dome - socal vs seattle : a boy and his "dog" - me vs. prehistoric.

here are some basic sketches on the "dog". my initial idea was/is a post apocalyptic environment. now i'm not certain its all that important. i can see this bond of "dog" and boy in a regular fantasy type environ. i guess i should dwell on that a little more. here is my *dog. a large beasty beast like creature with horns and feathered wings. i see my kid as an innocent homeless child that this large creature seems to bond with. maybe a subconscious psychic connection? this creature is now the guardian of the kid.

dog-beast originally had 4 legs, but i think i'm going 6 legged..

2 weeks....machine/person in traditional medium...
heres my idea so far...maybe a bit bit played out as far as mecha-man type designs go, but its my first one like this.

rough thumbs on how he looks/leg placement.

Corel Painter Master - thanks for the vote 'o' confidence. but i really need to learn a whole lot more..

Ksama - thanks a lot. i really like the spider guy too, but i couldn't figure out a cool way to joint the legs..i will do some more research on how some other peeps create a spider-guy and probably finish him.

but, i just drew this guy yesterday, then used ballpoint pen to "finish" him out for my traditional medium t-dome piece...i like his head, wish i would've managed the light better, and wish i knew anything technological to make his mechanics more believable..but i guess in time..

holy crap. i forgot i had a sketch thread. huh. well.
i guess i am gonna start this up again. now, i want to test the attachments feature now available....lets see....
a recent creature...
