finally finished some water colors

So yeah here are some recent water color paintings I've done.They are supposed to be Tarot cards...just so you know.

yey! you poasted. i think you did great on death, the backround is delectible.
i think the baby looks good in the empress card, i like how the ornge waves go off the card.
the tower looks good, i like the cloudy raine obove the castle and the dead bull below it, the spirit looks good going around the castle.
the univers is my fav, i think. the colures are the most exiting. i like the animles the lemer is my fav. i think you did a verry good job on it.

i think you could make the titles look beter, but the cards look great! ^_^

great use of color, though the area at the bottom with the text could be better integrated into the composition. As of right now it's very distracting.

The watercolor has been handled really well, the first piece is certainly your strongest in terms of composition and use of the medium. The third is your weakest, a boring composition and a really bad tangent at the bottom of the image where her chin almost touches the edge are really hurting it. The colors also aren't nearly as interesting.

Watercolors=hard.

Is it just a coincidence that all the faces are profile view? seems like youre not very comfortable with drawing different views of a face.

I'd say the colors of the third one are the strongest. The other ones seem to have super saturated colors, with not much variation within each color.

Keep pracin tho.

Excuse me guys and girls if this aint the right place to
ask questions but to tell y'all the truth, I'm quite slow with
the internet part, so please have patience : )

Well, my question is: You know anime, like Princess Mononoke and
Porko Rosso and such? I wonder how the heck they do the background and scenery, like the beautiful forests and interior of residences and so on..
