    T's Wip's

Hello folks, been snooping for a while and figured it's about time to register and post something. I'm still very bad at painting but I try to practice drawing / paint at least for 30 minutes a day. If all goes well I will improve .

    Thanks.

I didn't have a lot of time to practice last night but I did add a cloud line behind the mountain. I looked over a few tutorials and decided to se what I can do about snow. This is the out come I got.

I used a screen layer with a noise filter, some motion blur and Level manipulation.

This is my first attempt at using Paniter. I must say that after I started to figure out where things were , I enjoyed using it very much. This image is far from being done, but I like what I'm starting to see.

Heres and update to the tree, I'm starting to experiment with the Painter brushes while im working in the bard detail. I still haven't picked a favorite method, thats why the tree may not have the same taxture over it. But I feel it is an improvement. Here ya go.

Hi, I think it is starting to look much better, but the shadows still need some work, also the leafs look weird and not very realistic. Are you doing this based in a reference or from your mind?
    Keep working.

Well I finally purchased a full version of Painter IX, and am following a few tutorials. I gave up on the Tree but it was a great excercise. I wasn't following any reference on the tree, it was my own sketch but I was semi-following a tutorial by Don Seegmiller designed for Painter 7.

I'm still trying to find the brushes that work for me in painter 9, these are some of my test WIP.

Here my attempt at a funny. Due to the lack of RAM , I'm working at a very low resolution. It's been hard getting the detail in.
