Very cool! Love the coloring and the hightlights. Ehh don't like the title, maybe it's to simple... I don't know.

cyruse4 - Thanks! I'll PM you when it's done, may be a while, I haven't even started to redo it yet. Hopefully by the end of next week.
vigostar - The colours probably aren't those of a real heart, but most of the illustrated reference I used had those colours, so I decided to stick with them. Glad you like it!
DSillustration - Receiving a comment like that from such a talented artist is truly an honor... thank you.
Chuck, mate. - Thanks Pat, yours is pretty darn sweet too.
poise - I'm happy you like it. Thanks for the advice on the website, without it, this painting would never have been created.
CleptoCat - Thank you!
JeffZNY - Thanks Jeff. I've been studying alot and trying to refine my techniques. I'm glad it's showing. It also helps having such a vast resource of inspiration and support... referring to CA!
character - No, not this time. I still haven't perfected that move. I'm working on it though, maybe I'll have mastered it by the Montreal workshop, then I can test it on YOU!!!...
...just kiddingThanks alot!
Lilith7 - I'm still not sure I'll keep the title the way it is. But at the moment it's working for me. It stands out, which it what it's supposed to do.
Thanks for the crit! I'll try out a few more fonts to see if they work better.
Xpose - Thanks! Like I mentioned above to Lilith7, it stands out, but I'm definitly willing to play around with something different.
bRØk3n_sPiRiT - I only wish I knew more about lighting, and how to set more moods with it; i suppose practice makes perfect. I can't wait too see my new site up too, then I'll have more time to paint![]()

Denart - I picked up some hearts at the local supermarket; Being so close to Valentine's, there's plenty in stock AND they're fresh. But they definitely were not on sale.![]()

This is one of my favorite images i've seen from you.
I don't have any crits...I just really love this.
I love when the grotesque is made beautiful, or combined with traditional beauty in an intelligent way. It's tougher than it sounds to achieve, but you've done that here with this image. Cheers mate!

Freakin' sweet ass beautiful man. One thing, the rollover glow on the color image makes a darker halo around the monochrome blue version. It stood out to me anyway...
Great pieces on your site as well, love your rendering approach.
Geophillyx - Thanks dude!
Loomer - Your comment is probably the nicest compliment I've ever received. Thank you. I have to agree with you, this is probably my best painting yet. I can only hope they get better
Strych9ine - Thanks man! I didn't notice the'glow' till you mentioned it. Thanks for pointing that out. I'll have to put that on my 'things to fix' list for the site. Cheers.
Checked out your website, your creativity is quite astonishing. Espcially that dragon eater thing, never seen anything like that.
As everyone has mentioned....beautiful!
I have the feeling that if there was a slight translucent reddish glow (very subtle) it'd make the heart look as if it has blood inside.
