When fast food isn't fast enough

Have you ever driven through a drive-through without picking up your food?!

I hate when that happens. It's so embarrasing.

I was in such a hurry yesterday that I paid at the first window, then went home, absent-mindedly abandoning my double cheeseburger and McValue fry!!! Grrrrrr......

When I parked my car at home, I turned to the empty space where my food was supposed to be, then cried out from the depths of my soul, like Darth Vader: "Noooooooooooooo!!!!!!"

Then I threw my head back and laughed at myself.

Hahaha, that rocks. And sucks. I can't specifically recall ever doing that, but it rings enough alarms in my swiss cheese memory to make me think I've come awfully close to doing it.

You ever order a burger at the fast food place and get home only to realize that they forgot to place the meat in your burger. . . how do you forget that? It's like the only thing that matters!!!

It's worse then forgetting to pick up your food

I always find myself halfway thru the burger and say... "what am i doing to myself? this shit's disgusting!" and then I guiltily eat that second half as well. greasy carcinogens, mmmmm....

We ordered a couple pizzas and watched Supersize Me.

Not the smartest move, but I was able to finish a second piece (feeling the fat, stupid animal all the while).

Of course, I have only eaten at one McDude's since (two hamburgers and that was only because we were on a stretch of high with no other food options).

When I was staying in the valley... and when you're desperately hungry at night... nothing beats an in-and-out cheeseburger. Either that or the nearby mexican hole in the wall with burritos the size of your head (varies depending on how drunk the cook is).

And no... have seen stoned idiots hit the car infront while rushing, but have never driven away without the food. Heh.
