oh man, you are like a contemporary master. I know every comment in here is the same but i'll say it anyway. You're work is so beautiful. I can only hope to have a fraction of your talent by the time i graduate from artschool. Keep posting, i look forward to your studies.

hey, i should have asked this in the last post but i had a few questions for you.

    1. What size paper are most of these (all of them)?

    2. What kind of charcoal, more specifically, soft or hard? Multiple?

    3. How long have you been drawing?

Once again, you work is so inspiring, i actually tried more of your style today in class, with no avail.

To answer some of the questions that were asked above- For materials on the charcoal drawings the easiest answer is here

    nice..

    .

gist ,excellent work, i still think that by working on white paper you loose the chance to separate your lights and darks in a more design and clear manner,I also think that the shadow side should feel more like smoke with softer transitions so ,you can clearly define the forms...heres' a masterful example of what i mean, by Giulio Romano

Hi Erik just wanted to let you know how grateful I am that you have found the time to post all these drawings. I haven't been drawing for long so your breakdown drawings showing the simple forms are a big help to me; and your longer drawings and paintings are truly inspiring. Many thanks.

stellar stuff man - phenomenal control of your medium. do you ever put highlights in with chalk or white conte, or is it only ever just rubbing out to reveal the white paper?
