Thank you for the inspiration man, really. That's made me pushing myself more, especially when I saw how quickly you've modeled the shapes and blocked in all proportions. What for you takes minutes for me takes hours. Keep going. Wish best of everything for you :-).

hemP- Looking forward to having you, when do you get in town?

MurdokX- If I understand the question, yes. In case I don't I first look for the long simple flowing gesture lines (line of action, movement between forms, etc) then I map in any substantial structure and foreshortening (mannequinizing) then I block in shadows, thinking in terms of simple planes. Lastly I reinforce the contour where I feel it is good to do so.

wow thanks for posting all of this
sow much energy in every drawing verry nice strokes!!
and made, with a verry hard medium

do you start with the back ground strokes first, or do you start with the lines of the body?

    beautifull work!

hemP- We will have to set up a BBQ or sketch night so you can meet some of the folks. I don't know anyone at the moment, but there are a few new people moving in to town that might be good.

'ej- I have done both before, but most often with the lines of the body. Perhaps I will have to put together a little tutorial.
