Like the coloured pencil sketch oils are good too.On the lsat one the hand loos a bit small and the jaw dosent quite line up.

So worked back into a couple of paintings, still shitty photos, got to get a tripod and umbrella lights. The nude is a quicky done with my left hand, so loose as hell, but didn't do justice to her pretty face. When I figure out how to make the colors on my paintings photograph correctly, I'll be a happy guy.

You seem to be doing quite well left handed! Heh, faces with brushes are hard for me with my good hand, don't worry about it. I like the guy with the green hair. On the top portrait i also think her hand is too small, or maybe just at a weird angle or something. Looking forward to works from your good hand again

I can paint right handed again, just can't draw yet. Sorry about the lack of any sketch updates but I'm getting ready for a show! Fixed the hand on the girl with the red bandanna so it reads better, and am framing everything. It's getting busy, so if I don't post new stuff up for a week, don't be surprised.

some updates cuz I haven't in a while. Last one is post apocalyptic bard, for the most recent CHOW, except it should be bard of the apocalypse, so I need to redo it. Show went well. It'll be up for a month, bought like 30$ in excellent cheeses for snacks, plus the restaurant hooked me up. Lots of friends came by. They made me take down my nude though, freaking narrow minded customers.

Pencils are looking sweet. The portrait of your friend looks a little skewed, and the features seem misplaced. Not really much to crit, so I'm gonna demand more action poses

i like your armor pieces, prolly will use some of them for my sketchgroup meetings for armor painting demos

if anything i would try to get your values more contrasty, it may be the scanner but a lot of your stuff either looks white or midtones.

Love the girl in armor - i agree, more life drawing is in order. Good way to get line confidence is ballpoint pen doodles - world of fun.

F22Z- what's up with the twos(eh dos dos)? ok, more action poses in the future, in fact check out hp's thunderdome, it requires one. My friend has a unique face that does in fact look skewed, but like I said, shitty sketch.
hp- heh, that's funny cuz I drew em at my sketch group. scanner's cool, just need to not suck at drawing, ya know?

gotta love it man, everythings looking pretty good. I especially love your cross hatching, that and your painting, great color. I need to work on my 2d stuff more, but ive got 3 3d classes a week each having a project due every week. I dont have time for 2d at the moment. sniff sniff... i of course sketch all the time, but i really want to do some finished 2d pieces. Keep up the good work

Hey blue,

Sorry as well for not popping in for a while. Main crit for the last one - the building closest to us on the right is too small!!! The size of those windows don't scale with the size you in the pic, I'd double the size of the windows and probably whack it away with some atmosphere. Otherwise the comp is pretty good, just a little empty on the right.

Looking forward to next update.

Thanks for the crits. Already submitted the tdome, Hopefully when HP draws on it she can fix up and or cover that building.
