Right now all Im seeing are red x's.
No need to apologize about starting a new thread though, just let us know so we can update the link.
ok nice start. Those quick sketches of people are nice, however try to have a bit more confidence in the lines you place down. keep studying the body as you are doing now and you should notice improvement. keep it up.
Confident lines are harder to achieve than what you first expect, the only way to get better it to draw for hours everyday, no amount of reading books etc. will help you here, the only way to improve draftmanship is through practice, books are still great though, hope to see more in the future!
how old is this sketchbook by the way?
it s recent stuff..
sorry i don't have time to be more present , my free time is near to 0.
in progress

Hey, I can finally see all the pics!
Nice life studies so far, I like the simple marker/pen gestures from the first post.
Hands and studies in the last post look good, too.
Make sure to pay attention to the structure of your subject matter before laying in value, helps you stay consistend in your rendering.
Keep it up, its alright, keep posting whenever you can.
nice loenardo studies and scetches in general. Keep em coming.
Like that you try drawing people from life too. Don't stop on that and keep pushing lineeconomy. Also try to render some simple geometrical forms for example. To start using more values and lightdynamics (shadows).
Cheers.
oy. new things here.
yaa man, same with me, its been long since last time ive checked ur sketches..
nice stuff. i really really like this pose
DO more poses.
use ball point pen to get ur linee more confident
i like ur fast sketches. im still so bad at my fast gestures.
Do more of those hands. MORE AND MORE AND MORE> also do self portraits. i figures when i did more of my hands i got alot betta at the hands. and also when i did some self portraits i got better at drawing faces.
Keep it up

You're doin good kid'. Keep it up with the single line drawings. They helped a bunch. Just do like you did, just one constant line. Good luck! I'll drop in again soon.

Lookin good SHylone, don't worry about a quick sketching method. It should come as second nature if you keep up those gestures.
Try to do many diagrams of a properly proportioned face. It should help you on your SP's.
hi everyone ,
Pixeldragoon , i thank you for your comment, i need study more and be more motivated, to be more patient and have more rigor too ..it s good schedule
Architecture studies "eat" litterally my time , i ve no free time , but i discover a lot of new thing. In this school a good drawing isn't art drawing , just the most explicit , it can be good for my own stuff , to find the right line, to be more accuracy more patient and so on .. In my class a lot of people are talened , i think , but they are very lazy or maybe they don't be interested by the drawing ..
I ll try to organize more to allow myself to draw more and be more productive, and may be to post more..
by the way i ve lost my last sketchbook in train station ..sad ..
Some works from lost sketchbook and the recent..

Sorry about the lost sketchbook!
Like the update, the architecture studies look good. Watch some of the perspective though, try using your pencil to measure the vertical and horizontal lines and judge the angles that way.
Figure work looks better, youre paying more attention to proportions and form. In the self portraits, I'd slow down a little bit and watch the way the form wraps around the face. Try changing the direction of your hatching to match the direction of the form, it adds more volume.
Those arcitecture studies look great! I want to see you do more of them.
Look in Tensai's sketchbook for some inspiration on that point!
SirGreenSock : thx for the comment, I ll try to pay much attention in my render to avoid to delete shapes.
PixelDragoon : I ve seen Tensai 's sketchbook , you re right it's good inspiration in architecture drawing !but he draw people as well i find.

Seriously man.. you need to have a look through you sketchbook. Such massive improvement man.
Your line quality and rendering has improved alot, youve got such a smoother approach - working with pen with help alot, go for confident lines, long strokes. Try not to go for the scratching shading, like that portrait.. looks very rough. Lines should curve with the edges and forms. Since your doing alot of line stuff really working on pushing the line quality - always think single stroke where you can. Try also some drawings by limiting your stroke count.
Good work man, keep it up. Andy.
thx Andy . very appreciated comment!

need a break to work more hard , to stop schedule and no act. need action to improve..
i noticed that i m very very lazy, poor bastard-dreamer , i hope i could stop that , this place is for me , one of the most inspiring thing on the web.
Like everyone said me , if you don't draw more 4 hours per day you can't progress..i draw just few hours per week , not enough.i'm like vegetable, i rest on the floor without standing up.
this night i need to work about myself, my FOCUS , my future , need meditate more and more to find my own way.
i thanks everyone too see my stuff.
cheers !

Great update, gaining more confidence!
Don't be hard on yourself, just carry your book around you all the time, observe and draw, forcing yourself too much only causes frustration. However, its good to have some kind of exercise to keep yourself warmed up if nothing else, get yourself into a routine of doing one specific study each day (still life, portrait, nude, anatomy study or something) and develop from there!
yes..another lost sketchbook i hate myself ! Anyway i decided to do more watercolor, it's nice material , but hard to masterize. Somebody has learnt to me to do my own sketchbook , maybe i don't lost it anymore. sorry no drawing for now , may be in the next week ..

These two are very nice... Do you know Mentler? Try to get in contact with him, he will help you make the most out of your life drawing experience... The fact that you CAN draw from nude models is great... so keep at it!!!
Hi everyone who is looking my sketchbook ( is there ? )
SirGreensock : i thanks you , i need just to push myself to do what it s the most important for me , i need to choose and organize from that.
Pixeldragoon : , hi , i know mentler from the name , Dr bone , and i will go to seek him to have new help . thx for comments.

I post this in everyone's sketchbooks:
I haven't really been active latley with replies and such. Both due to lazyness, school and that I've started to write/read latley. Anyway, I'm not here to make excuses. I'm here to propose an idea.
Montreal is here, two days actually. You are going to get home pumped with a shitload of inspiration (everyone isn't going, but this message applies to us all). So to make something productive out of it, I thought that we could start a project.
It doesn't need to involve 3D models etc, just some world we make up, design stuff for etc.
It would be fun incooperating all of this group's talents.
If you have something to say about this, send a reply to everyone and to make it comfortable for you, use this:
PixelDragoon;Shylone Breath;JustinBeckett;SirGreenSock
Dan1989 hasn't been logged in since March:/
Profil thx but i can't go to Montreal , i'm in France ..:{ sorry not for this time. maybe for a next.
no comment for me :| ?
