You need to work on your anatomy - especially faces. A lot of your faces seem lifeless and somewhat innacurate. I don't know if you've noticed, but a lot of your faces also look the same. Try using a references of a diverse array of facial structures - it will help to broaden your horizons.
You also seem to like smudging. Sometimes it works, sometimes it looks messy. Do you smudge with your fingers? If you do, you may want to invest in a smudge stick instead. You can get them for under a dollar at your local art store.
Beyond the nitpicks, you're certainly off to a good start. Hope I was able to shed some insight. Keep it up!
Thanks for looking Ryn. I will keep your points in mind. Some of the shading was formed from my scanner though due to the over size of some of the drawings.
I really like that dude with the up-side-down turned crosses... what's his name know, can't remember. Great work anyway, keep practising.
That would be King Diamond.Originally Posted by Sarcophagus

Great use of references
Yo katsgod. Big gallery here.
Try to put some text next to your drawings I don't know which are recent and what's old.
The reference drawings are great.
I think your colored work will jump out more when you try to color with paint/inks/big markers/ballpoint instead of those color pencils. Colorpencils do the job but they always will give a soft color.
Do you have also digital painting skills?
No digital skills...I am basicly self tought in everything I do...pencil, ink, ect.Originally Posted by Uziel
