Alday.J,
Harharhar! I have just seen some of your works, and I love your photo/illustration/3D combination...it's something I aspire to, I am a huge die~hard fan of Dave McKean~like work...yours is not the same in flavor, necessarily, but the approach is similar...nice to see! Thank you for your kind support!
Cheers,
~Rebeccak

Good stuff Rebeccak! Nice to see you on Ca! On your paintings I think it would really help if you tightened them up with some hard brush strokes! Keep on kicking out the studys....

Hello, Rebeccak! I wanted to thank you for your beautiful art, this very, very informative and needed tutorial and for a huge fun and excitement I have every time in your 15 minutes thread in TG talk. I respect and enjoy all your generous talents very much.
I think your lines are beautiful to the most, I never saw anything like this, they look so powerful and emotional, like a nature itself, regardless what it's depicted. But I immediately wanted to see how your lines will be in landscapes or still lifes (they will probably stop being still).
So thank you very much, a real pleasure to see your art.
Sveta
hey rebecca, nice to see your work and all the tutorials, really helpful and lots of information in a simple way, very easy to understand and apply. Your an excellent teacher. I'm learning tons just seeing your work and how you use the shapes and shadows.
Thnks for postin'![]()

sve,
Thank you so much! Your comments are really generous, and I look forward to seeing you on the 15 Minute Sketchathon thread!! Thanks for dropping by my thread here, and I greatly appreciate your support of the Anatomy Forum!
Diego,
Thanks so much for your support as well! It's great to see you on both forums, and I'm thrilled you've set up your own Anatomy Thread ~ it's great to have even more talented people join in!
neoknocker,
Thanks a lot!
Main Loop,
Thanks very much! I'm on the East Coast, though I went to Art Center in Pasadena for undergrad. I am, however, teaching an online Workshop in February through the CGWorkshops:
Figuratively Speaking ~ Analyzing the Human Form
http://workshops.cgsociety.org/courses/000014/
I ran another CGWorkshop recently which I quite enjoyed. I'd definitely like to teach in the real world as well at some point. Thanks for asking!
A small update to my OFDW 011 WIP:
Cheers,
~Rebeccak

Said it in your thread in the fine arts area, and I'll say it here: you've got skills! lol great stuff as always glad to see you made a sketchbook. The tutorials are really helpful as well, especially the little section on organic curves, so thanks for thosegreat stuff!
a sketchbook yay! I saw this yesterday at my friends studio and we were talking about your work, as we are both very into figures. Well not as much as we should be but we do appreciate awsome figures.
Rebecca, like I said before, I don't think I have seen anyone use airbrush that good, it's awsome to see how you progress. It's amazing how you define values and make it pop. I especially love the way you do the rib cages.. heheh, looks too good..
beautiful stuff and thanks for sharing! cheers,
Min *korean speaking and still friendly*![]()
hehe!
i'm glad i've found your thread Rebecca!- you have impressive work here - some i've never seen it before! yey!
Can't wate for more!!![]()
