Amazing work Mitzi!! Keep it up!!

I really really like your sketch work, although the color ones are nothing at all to scoff at 0.o

Great work again! I'm looking forward to seeing more.

Just wondering... what all tools do you use to make all of those?

Thanks for checking out my sketchbook.

Thanks Dan for the advice i am aware of the shadow problems. Too soft and in black. But it is a habit and hard to shake i go into automatic when i draw and put the brain in neutral. But definately going to try and change that.

Christian223 good point about the persecptive i rarely use it.I have downloaded a few samples on how to apply persecptive in my pics and going to try and see if i can use it.

Malakai SinClair thanks for your comments. Pencil and photoshop and some times painter on all these.

Here is some more daily sketchs going to move on to more finished pieces soon enough so i can spend a bit of time on the problems that ye have mentioned above.

DSG 1221: Sci-Fi: UNDERWATER REPAIR OF LARGE SEA-FLOOR CRAWLER BOT

DSG 1212: Sci-Fi/Fantasy: THE EFFECTS OF THE CRYSTALLIZING RAY ARE DRAMATIC

Ok a few more pics these are not up to much but i am feeling confident for future pics. Going to go back to what i enjoyed drawing and going to try and forget everthing i learned.

For Chow 1960 model. I liked doing the cat. Yes he was reffed and no he was'nt crossed eyed put that was too funny to change. i don't even know why i choose to do this as i was'nt very interested. Oh yeah i rememeber it was the first one with a new topic.

Done for nothing better to do between the daily drawoffs which last two days these days. Not going to fin. But if i was the face would be a lot better and there would be some sort of design on her shoulder pad use your imagination.

Some more daily sketchs must do a more finished pic or full pic one of these days.

    DSG 1248: Sci-Fi/Fantasy: MEGA-FOOT DON'T TAKE NO GUFF!

DSG 1239: Sci-Fantasy: GRITTY PORTRAIT OF A FILTHY CYBORG FROM THE SHOULDERS & UP

    DSG 1233: Open-Ended: NOZZLE MAN

I was kinda happy with this till i bumped the contrast up too much. His face is rubbise i change it for the drawoff "demon pirate" must change it back to something more normal. And the cannon was last mintute and looks off.

Again i bumped the contrast up too much.

More of my good and the bad sketchs. As i draw for fun i am finding myself getting a bit bored here is my latest.

Daily drawoff. Photo textures underneat and build up from there.

Sheepcrab. Daily drawoff. I should work more in pencils before i hit the p.c. as i think my pencil pics look better.

Daily draw. This i didn't plan i just let it happen and it is now one of my fav pics i have done. Sometimes things just work out. Wish it was like that all the time.

Enviroment of the week. crap pic and i spent a lot of time on it. I have done better pics in the daily sketch group. the more i spend on a pic the worst it looks it seems.

Thanks Psychostrat for checking out my sketchbook. The Juile pic for the DSG storybook was a mistake i never read the storybook bit. I didn't have storybooks like that either.

For the CHOW drawoff ice princess. Not very imaginative but i wanted to see how i paint a body without any ref so that is why she is quite a lot of upper body muscle. I was quite happy with it.

    Wicked!!! Those images horrified me.
Your use of colour is really nice and skillful, love it. I am wondering how much time do you spend on your work in average, the completeness is the thing I always would like to improve.

    Nice job!!

This was for the last man standing. I hated it from very early on and should have changed it to some knight snogging a orc(which i nealy did). But the original deadline was coming up so i stuck to it.

Your color usage and textures, your enviro and creature drawings are amazing man! Keep posting, man!
I think that figure (and face) drawing is your weakest point. Some anatomy issues can be seen in almost all of your figure drawings, but nothing serious - you will surely be able to fix them if you practice some more human and facial anatomy.
    Keep up the good work!

Hey man love you work in your sketchbook. I really like your anatomy studies. The only feedback that i can give is that most, not all, but most of your character drawings/designs have the issue that the feet are not anchored to the piece. The feet look like they are just floating in mid-air. Give them a little more weight.

Man, that jet is awesome lol. The BG is kinda loose still, but maybe you're trying to accent the main focus!

3 more form the daily sketch group.

I must try and go for some longer pics but i am always disappointed with them. For the amount of time i put in and the results.

Hahahaa you gotta love those dsg topics, i think you pulled them off nicely, keep it up dude, and don't get disheartened with the longer pieces not looking as good, its essential to keep the fluidity and the life from the initial sketch till the end, that will come with practice ;-)

    Thnaks for your comment RandAlThor.

Been thinking a lot about my pics recently. I did this one for the Art crusades and it was just a bit of fun. Like a kid straight in explosions dragons etc. When i had finished it i think it shows all that is wrong with what i do. There is no thought process in it just a random set of little pieces making a bigger pic. So downloaded a tutoral on compostion and it makes a lot of sense to me. hopefully i can apply what i have learn.

and this was for a daily drawoff.

Really wild dsg designs, the carniverous jet is pretty smart looking, could be a boss in Contra. What composition tutorial did you download?
