Hey, this is some really nice stuff, although some of the tones are kinda dark and heavy. They could use some really sharp whites in some places. Also, some more accurate anatomy couldn't hurt, but that's in part a stylistic issue. Still, it's important to have a good grasp of anatomy anyway.

Good stuff, I look forward to seeing more.

Hi thanks for your comments paul. Anatomy is a bit dodge in some areas i know. They are a bit dark, my scanner is a bit crap so i upped the contrast in photoshop maybe i got a little carried away

Wow, great stuff! I really like the darker tones, something I don't seem to accomplish myself.. Or dare to try... I like your faces, dynamic pics, they've got a vibrant sense of life. More, now!

Hey dude thanks for the reply. If u want to get dark tones u have to build up in layers dont just try and press realy hard with ur pencil cos itll end up flat. Keep in mind ive adjusted the levels in these pics though. Thanks

I like the way you mesh things together. Have you ever thought of going beyond the borders of the page rather than being constricted by it. Your drawings seem to grow organically

Hey Matt, nice char dude... and some great concept ideas. You may notice he seems a little stiff and unbalanced in his pose. I would recommend giving him a stronger prouder pose by arching his back slightly, extending his right arm out more so that the base of the weapon is further out from his feet... extend his chest out a bit just to give him some interesting lines and shape.

At the moment he has the body language of someone who has been startled or surprised. If you cant see what I mean, try scrolling the page up to hide his head.. this should make it a bit clearer. His legs are very straight like logs. The perspective is very flat and his head may be just a little too small... not by much though.

I love the lighting on the chest plate... cant wait to see how he turns out if you carry through with this style of rendering. Hope this is helpful... its only my personal opinion so take it as you see fit

    Looking forward to some updates!!
