    This pic confuses me - the foreground figure's got a black outline (except for the hair, hand and tabard\cloth!), which sets it uncomfortably apart from the rest of the pic (the big bug have patches of outline, which also looks a bit weird).

    I also think that the grass at the bottom is too crisp, and it's fighting with the foreground figure for attention.

    Finally, your contrast is strange - contrast increases as things get closer to the foreground, but your darkest darks are currently on the bushes which hide the bug.

    Hope that's of some help,
    Mid.

    Okay, I have worked the contrast back a bit in the background and eliminated most of the obvious outlines to try and get the character to sit better within the picture... oh, and a dodgy boat to link the characters and background...

    Edit: the grass is still a little, well, fake...

    Did you adjust the contrasting of the whole picture? seems like your character's contrasting lost its colour, and that part looked just fine...
    but actually thought the whole picture looked great at first!

    I dont know much i'm sorry! =(

    Okayz, I made the character darker again (erased the screenlayer over the figure) though it might make her pop out a bit too much... still haven't fixed tha grass... {edit to fix calves}
