Nice sketches, I especially like the last one. Don't you have a slightly bigger version (can't make out much detail on your scan) ?

yeah what obx said! I really see a gigantor improvement....are you doing drugs? Either way im am proud of you
Try varying your lines weights a little more.
Been doing a lot of work recently, other than that in Art Class not much time for drawing or painting so here're some doodles and sketches in my free time, nothing really serious.
hey oki,
first of all you've posted a great progress
you said "I still feels like I'm just putting lines down on paper."
i guess you need to learn to feel the surface of the object you draw.
and currently your lines seem to be quite stiff.
learn to draw loose lines, use Opposing Curves:

but all in all your sketches are pretty good for your age.
keep it up
i agree with bloodbrush, knowing apposing curves is a great asset and that tutorial by Rebekah explains it well. my suggestion would be to slow down, possibly make an under drawing first made of boxes cones and such. then go back over it with detail. Also try doing gesture drawings. IF you don't have acces to a life drawing class you can still do it. There are many ways to practice that which i can share with you if you'd like. Your doin awesome dude just keep exploring!!
wowoweeya, moo, haven't put up much in a while, here's a little stuff.

Seconding what chaos said. Hands and are vital to making your caharacters come alive. Hope you're laying off the lined paper too. Other than that, neat characters and good linework. You're doing well with the anatomy too, though you need to pay attention not to make the torso too long. Exaggerating stuff more could be good idea as well. Hope to have been of some little help.
Thx, when the lined paper comes out its because I'm in school and I have nothing else to draw on.
Good batch, man. Keep drawing those features individually, but try to keep the form in mind as well. Don't just think of them as lines. Once you know the form, you can draw them from any angle. If you don't want to spend time on detailed hands, just block them in. Don't worry about each fingers, draw the non thumb fingers as a whole and draw lines for the joints and knuckles so you know where to change planes. Once you have this and you draw each fingers in, the knuckles and joints will line up properly.
Jeez I don't update enough.
