Serp- Yep. Going to try and get some more life drawing going.

Had a few big projects for school to start, so I skipped updating yesterday. Art in general may be put on the back burner for a while, but only a few days at the most, just until I get a better schedule worked out.

Yesterday and today- Brush pen gestures. trees, people, faces, whatever. Just trying to get as much down as I can as fast as I can. After a while hopefully this will loosen up my poses.

I like how your still life of the matches turned out. I think you should try to define the other quickies a bit tighter, you can keep up the pace, but try to get closer and closer to the true form of these things!

Got some joe, glad to hear the good news! the value studies are really impressive. thanks for dropping the ca luv on the sketchbook. do your replies by tomorrow or end up like me You should start up a sketchgroup, though it may interfere with your sketchbook rthym, it definitely has with mine.

Hyptosis- Thanks! I'm surprised everyone liked that, I didn't really like it at the time and really didn't spend much time on it. Does that mean I'm doing something right? Sweet!

Hiemlichguggenmaneuver- Thanks man! Well, first I got to find people near me (and around my age) who like art, which isn't going so good. And since school is already bullying art around, maybe it's for the best.


Okay, today started as a sucky drawing day, so I just did Loomis, trying to work back up to my base level. This is all put in chronological order.

Except this one, which should be fourth.

Today- Gestures, doodles that will become gesture, more gestures, and a mini T-challenge update. Seriously got to finish this one this week.

Been a few days without replies. And thus, we enter the dry season before the flood.

More work on the T-challenge and some messing around with colors. Going to have to get going if I'm gonna get in on that gesture T-dome.

Yo, new gestures are lookin pretty damn good. For the T challenge, I think at this point you could drop in more large areas of color and start thinkin about what the thing will feel like as a whole. Once that's kinda in place you can start diggin into the rendering and stuff. Good start!

Really falling in love with ink all over again. Been working entirely in ball-point pen for the past few days, and I think it's really helping my lines.

Okay, explanation. Short story, I've been slacking on some projects for school so this week I got to haul ass to get them done in time. Getting near the end, so my time is finally getting a bit of a gap. Art starting again tomorrow, and I'm really happy to get some time for drawing again. Here's a speedy from tonight to get back into the swing of things.

I know I said art yesterday, but I decided to overhaul and just get through it all at once. NOTE- No updates Saturday or Sunday because I'll be away.

So today, some Loomis arms. May experiment with paint over the weekend.
Oh, and if you didn't already know, The Smiths rock pretty dang hard.

Nice colours in the acrylic, but it's very sloppy. I don't know how big you worked here, but try to be tidier (tidyer?) the next time. Keep doing the studies, but don't just copy the book. Try to find the muscles you know by heart in life people.
