Some books should never be opened. Especially if you're a young apprentice, and the book has a black cover, and a golden lock, brimming with so much energy the hair on the back of your neck stands at attention.

Hello, I'm new. I got Painter a couple of weeks ago and have been teaching myself how to use it.... There was originally another part to it with the wizard falling asleep at a desk and this image was supposed to be a daydream in the background... but I gave up on making that work.

Hmm. Spent at least 90 minutes on this before I looked at the thread again and noticed the Fantasy part of the thread title.

Well it's kinda fantasy oriented. The rabbit has clearly sabotaged this poor guy's book of spells and turned it into a face-seeking projectile.

AfroLaxMan- The idea is great! Reminds me of the chutulhu saga. Maybe some adjustments in the tones may help it look more dark and creepy.
