    coloring??

Hey I'm drawing some characters but before i went any further, i wanted to know a really excellent way to start coloring a composistion like this. I know i'll have to make a background,,,, but i havent gotten there yet. Ive made this all with my wacom tablet in photoshop so far. Its all made on a seperate layer above a white ground layer.... Any advise on how to proceed?

i'd say make a new layer, jump in the deep end, and experiment.

Otherwise, give it a fairly neutral color on a multiply layer; determine where your light is coming from, light color and enviromental light color, local colors, and go from there. Once you get a process down it goes pretty quickly.
