    Courses

Its me again back with a new set of questions

I will try to attend a good artschool after i graduate because i believe in myself, perhaps in Europe because of the insane prices for foreigners in the USA.

But my main question is that the course "industrial design", i read alot that it is a famous choise here and does that sum up buildings and prop design?

Can you combine that with some kind of character/figurative course aswell to get an all round education that can be suited for the concept design industry, or do it depends on the school?.

    Thank you for any answers

You can, and that's probably the best choice if you want to be a concept designer for buildings and props. Be warned that industral design is not JUST designs...but includes you BUILDING your designs.

    Do you mean more mathematically?
so if you could cross that with illustration/figure drawing, that would be a good class!.
But now to find a school -_-

"Mathematically"? One of my industrial design friends spent an entire quarter in senior studio designing one product--something that makes it easier to wash a baby. Everyone had to do it, and he had to build the item at the end. He wants to design cars, but he'd never once been allowed to use a car design--it's all been products. :/
