oook , update, after a long while.I don't know how many of you guys actually read what i write here, but i don't give a damn.
This is a really really really busy period, i've started artschool and i move up n down from bologna all the time, so i don't have much time to pop by the boards. But the lessons are interesting, i'm learning theory and istory of comics and illustration, i'm experimenting with painting (still suck at it, but i hope to show something soon)...most of all, the art school life is a total blast.I've found people with my same interest, wich is motivating, i can speak to professionals that can help me, and most of all... i met a lovely girl
so right now, things coudn't go much better
i'll update asap guys, thanks for watching
here is some recent stuff, drawings n sketches, some quick posemaniacs, and random shit.

Great update Ryan! I must see the last two drawings colored!
Ehehe fighissimo lo Gnollo innamorato
Hey man its nice to see good stuff is still being produced here. I think some of your Work looks Fantastic...like your linework is really cool. However there are times when it seems some of your lines loose a bit of confidence, or lack as much thought behind them. I know its hard to keep the same level of consistency up for every drawing, but in a way thats what your trying to aim for...thats what we all try to aim for...i have the same problem. yea if that makes no sense then just ignore it, i was just trying to think of something more to say than the usual stuff i may say. Oh and theres some really nice ideas going on too, creative stuff.
hey gnoll didnt you get you 5 stars ..... i really like the new stuff and that little lizard on the last page great job dude you got 5 from me
Dio cane, che figo che sei diventato.
Awesome improvement, where did you end up by the way?
Great stuff!!!!Your concepts are superb! You are becoming better and better in character design! All of them are fantastic, specially the mummies and the one with the magic halo in his hand!is an awesome character!
Nice Update, swamp king probably my favoright
SketchBook Chris Yoakum?
NIce bump of work overhere. Just checked out your whole thread. Was funny to see you improving. 4 starts from me you get 5 when your digital painting is as good as your sketching. Your sketches rock ass it inspires 15 old kids like me to pick up your pencil again and start practising and practising until it doesnt look like shit anymore. Anyway keep it coming. Thnx for the inspiration!
Little studies looking good.
The trick is not to tighten up
when we get more time.
Get the character and action
in the first few lines and
try to let that be your guide on
the rest of the journey.
Thanks for stopping by
and feeding the monkey.
sup´u ol milf hunter!
done youre homeworks pretty well haha u have posted your updates in a nice
order. the best at least kinda , and these last 2 looks great . the masked one is with markers? now seriously you should do now every chracter u think he´s worth showing in that style , just great. and the last one would kick big bitts if it could get a nice colouring therapy with some hughs and charms form you.

aviable for fulltime and freelance
That was one great drawing update! Damn. The swamp king picture is fantastic, definately need to color that sucker when you get around to it. I will say that the biceps could use a small rework, but the expression and posture of the 2 characters is excellent. Keep pushing your imagination, its workin right now
A really nice body of pencil work you have here Gnoll... especially liking the fluidity of those anatomy thumbs, you've a really nice sense of balance and weight distribution. And nice to see someone else to put daft annotations on their sketches too, ehehe.
Like the simple sketch of the guy sat in the corner with the hearts and the moon, there's something really pleasing about the space in that one.
Ah too bad. Nice stuff man. I can't remember how long its been. Have to catch up sometime matey.
Stay cool. Target those weaknesses! You know those better than anyone!
Kickass update there, loads of originality and ideas. I love the rendering on the two last ones and the patterns on http://www.conceptart.org/forums/att...1&d=1195414575 .
Keep up keeping us amazed!
Ahh thought it was you! You look different to what I imagined haha.
Great updates as usual, I'm liking the crazy guy in the robe 11th image down, v.cool!
Feels like my last visit here took place ages ago. ...which is a shame. :/
Anyways, I like what I see here a lot though, and I've been scanning you're latest work. Nice progression. I also wanna congrat you on your new art school, that's terrific man! Can't wait to see those paints.
Great update man, hopefully we can see another one soon.
The character designs are getting better, especially that swamp king and the mummy. Like the face perspective on that creature with horns.
Have a blast on art school!
Mannequines! yeah - gotta love em!
That guy with the bunch of skulls in his coat looks just awesome! The face / mouth reminds me a bit on "pans labyrinth" - a hell of a movie, wasnt it?

PS: if you're wondering, the baloo in the human anatomy ortho says something like "holdyourbuttockstight(repeat)"
PPS: yeah, i know, often heads are wonky in the "ffh" ones...gotta vorrect that and i'm trying out this more stlized "style"
