Well, seems like you did not lose your creativity everyone needs a break now and then, especially when one is a busy bee as you´ve been. Good luck with your motivation and hope to see more of you soon! Cheers!

@Lee W: hehe, not "Old Noobie" anymore huh? i currently AM experimenting with new materials at school, and its a messy, dirty blast. Its cool, but i'm really working big and the stuff is another city, so its a bitch to scan it...and i'm starting to paint!

This is a really really really busy period, i've started artschool and i move up n down from bologna all the time, so i don't have much time to pop by the boards. But the lessons are interesting, i'm learning theory and istory of comics and illustration, i'm experimenting with painting (still suck at it, but i hope to show something soon)...most of all, the art school life is a total blast.I've found people with my same interest, wich is motivating, i can speak to professionals that can help me, and most of all... i met a lovely girl
so right now, things coudn't go much better

i'll update asap guys, thanks for watching

here is some recent stuff, drawings n sketches, some quick posemaniacs, and random shit.

Hey man its nice to see good stuff is still being produced here. I think some of your Work looks Fantastic...like your linework is really cool. However there are times when it seems some of your lines loose a bit of confidence, or lack as much thought behind them. I know its hard to keep the same level of consistency up for every drawing, but in a way thats what your trying to aim for...thats what we all try to aim for...i have the same problem. yea if that makes no sense then just ignore it, i was just trying to think of something more to say than the usual stuff i may say. Oh and theres some really nice ideas going on too, creative stuff.

NIce bump of work overhere. Just checked out your whole thread. Was funny to see you improving. 4 starts from me you get 5 when your digital painting is as good as your sketching. Your sketches rock ass it inspires 15 old kids like me to pick up your pencil again and start practising and practising until it doesnt look like shit anymore. Anyway keep it coming. Thnx for the inspiration!

    Bone Doctor House Call.

    Little studies looking good.

The trick is not to tighten up
    when we get more time.

    Get the character and action
in the first few lines and
try to let that be your guide on
    the rest of the journey.

    Thanks for stopping by
    and feeding the monkey.

That was one great drawing update! Damn. The swamp king picture is fantastic, definately need to color that sucker when you get around to it. I will say that the biceps could use a small rework, but the expression and posture of the 2 characters is excellent. Keep pushing your imagination, its workin right now

A really nice body of pencil work you have here Gnoll... especially liking the fluidity of those anatomy thumbs, you've a really nice sense of balance and weight distribution. And nice to see someone else to put daft annotations on their sketches too, ehehe.

Like the simple sketch of the guy sat in the corner with the hearts and the moon, there's something really pleasing about the space in that one.

The character designs are getting better, especially that swamp king and the mummy. Like the face perspective on that creature with horns.
