    Hey Gnoll, that dude on the dino looks just awesome, all the details and the weapon. For my taste the eye of that dino are looking a little too friendly ...but I probably just have always these exaggerated evil dinos in mind
    Awesome - do you want to colorize that one?

    Hey Gnoll, really nice stuff in here. Damn, your doing things in here. Some of these are telling good stories.
    So you're going to a fine art school now? Illustration?
    And take care of the summer holiday. I think we all will regret not drawing more after the summer

    Great wolverine, the silhuette seems to work well and I like how he pops out from the paper. Very appealing for a rough sketch. The torso plane sketch is another one I like and that kind of things are sure good to practice your lightings.

    On the newest one, the design and pose of the creature look great, as always. The values are somewhat believable for a cloudy afternoon lighting but still, I can't tell a single direction the light comes from. The well-lit inside of the cape is probably the most confusing thing having no cast shadow. The creature's shadow-side looks so monotonous too that the rider's foot seems to blend in.

    Great looking stuff all in all and good to see you're still doing study sketches too, even though the facial details seemed good to me already.

    @funfetus: thanks! and yes, i know.I'd love to put more color stuff too...i'm working on that

    @Sirio_Brozzi: grazie Sirio i tried pushing the rendering a bit more than usual, glad you liked it.I had no idea of how to handle the cape, and eventually did iy in an exaggerated comic book style.You can call it style, or lazyness.I need some to do some cloth studies, thats for sure.

    @Hive_minD: thanks actually you're right.I was aiming to a "GW old school" kind of dark elf, but ended up drawing an even shittier design.SHould have thought more of the helm, i'm not convinced of it either

    @Teh Gosu: hehe thanks

    @mentler: this hyena is always happy when you throw him a bone Mentler

    @Pascallo: thanks! actually i should have made the eyes a little meanier, and it would have been easy...just had to add some shadow under the brow...i'll keep that in mind for my next lizard

    @Dreamworker: grazie Paolo

    @Pencilator: thanks for stopping by man, i'm a fan of your work Yep, i'll start illustration/comic studies in october, looking forward to that.Yep, i'm already regretting the wasted time, but WTF, i'm on holiday

    @smuli: thanks for the in--depth comment as usual man, i appreciate that you're right on everything, especially on the fact i'm still too lazy with rendering.

    Update.
    I'm slacking a lot in these day, and i probably will for the rest of the summer if i continue like this.But i still sketch once in a while
    I'm leaving for the UK on thurday, but i'll try an update again before then

    meanwhile:

    1)The dark elf, again.No changes since the other version, just a bump
    2)a sphere digi study.
    3, 4, 5) some dragon designs.
    6)uber rought doodle, don't even know why i'm posting this
    7)some bridgeman stuff.Not copies, just did 'em while flipping thru the book.I'll try and study from this book while i'm in England.

    ciao!

    Nearly missed this last update! :0 I really dig how the creatures came out man, they're pretty awesome looking. The pic of the creature on the rock is my favorite so far man, like the way he is perched on it. Lots of movement on some of these, looking good. : ) Try doing that sphere study in color, its much more fun! Ciao.

    Really digging the first set of dragon studies. I love the fish/reptillian qualities, and how it's kind of an unconventional design for a dragon. Very cool.

    Its nice but try to do more finished stuff and push the contrast more on those pencil renderings, haven't seen all that many finished pieces recently. Srill nice original ideas and loose lines.

    sweet drawings, especially the tiger. on some of the character pieces the hands are the least developed part of the drawings. maybe go back and bring up their level of finish.
