Just to update you all: i'm still freelancing as much as i can, still mostly advertising storyboards and anything else i can find.My first published game-related work is out! i did some menu illustrations for MUD - FIM Motocross World Championship (developer: Milestone, xbox360-ps3) along with my buddy Lorenzo Fornaciari and DANKA.You can kinda see the around 0:30 here if you're interested.I'm not too satisfied but it was pretty cool to see my own work in a game
There's other stuff cooking but its still too early!
'nuff talk, here some new work:
Some new comic pages for Sonnambulo #2.Script is by Federico Fornara.These are the fist 4 pages of a 10 page short story.I'm not entirely satisfied by the result, but i tried some new things:
Some cartoony characters for a test (inks and colors on bottom left soldier and red robot by Lorenzo Fornaciari :
A drawing i did for a friend's album cover:
A shaman character.I know, i'm kinda repetitive.Tried some new things and i'd like to try and do more characters like this one.
Random doodles:
Big guys in heavy armor.Yep, i'm really getting repetitive here
more mecha!
Some thumbnails:
Let me know what you guys think, C&C is much appreciated as usual!

No boobs? Bummer man, i just hope you work out on of them mecha sketches to make up for it. Like the vibe on that shaman dude a lot btw. Just keep it coming OK?
thumbnails are cool man, should work those out. The comic looks awesome , but I didnt understand the story haha. overall awesome works!
The Bloodshed pages kick some serious ass, great to see more comic work set in cold realism because in my opinion, along with the monster and character designs, that's what you shine most at. The amount of care you put in fleshing out the environments is a delight! The seedy shop and cramped, big city feel of the street are totally convincing. I also love the personality on the poses and expressions, especially the Chinese guy, how the fast action can be felt on the last page and of course all the fluid brushing. I have one nitpick that took me a while to notice, your hand gestures look good in general but when they're holding something, the poses can be unnatural. The bad guy seems to be balancing the box on his fingertips and on the last page, the grips of the pistol make the handle look soft. Just a tiny thing among all the greatness, I'm amazed by the overall style!
Mechs are looking powerful, I like the solidity of form you get with those flowy, sketchy lines and environments thumbs look original and very much worth taking further.
Really, really good updates, keep them coming!
Really fantastic work, and truly great drawing skills!!
Sweet update. Cool lookin' album cover. Congrats on the vid game.

Sweet updates, you make it look so easy man!
Great to see your versatility again!I love the album cover, I'd love to make one in the future as well. Your sketches are also top notch and please, please post an English comic! XD Cheers!
Nice update, again.
Really like the last thumbnail of a village (?). It has a nice cozy feeling.
I am really enjoying seeing your stuff. You have some insane character and sense of story. Awesome!!!

@walnut: hey dude! i was thinkng of working some more one one of the mechs, which one would you suggest? Glad you liked the shaman!
@Yor: i should work a lot of stuff out! i'll try and post something more refined in the next update.About the italian text- sorry! everytime i think of getting around to translating them i end up deciding i'd rather work on something new hehe
@smuli: glad to read you liked the bloodshed pages!! and spot on crit-i'll have to try and work on that.
@mike butkus: thanks sir!
@p sage: hey man,what's up? thank you very much for the support, as usual!

Hey guys-

cmq complimenti! and keep up the great work!![]()
The last sketch dump is cool. Some of it is different from what I'm used to see here.
Those mech sketches gave me an idea of your creative workflow. Do you, like, sketch really fast sometimes? Like, when I have this fuzzy idea of how something looks, I tend to draw really light and fast to sort of give it shape before I loose the image in my head. Is that how it works for you, too?
Don't worry about not updating often enough. At least you're sticking to one thread. I neglected mine for over a year and opened a new one which I'm also terrible at updating. I don't know why I did that.
You have come a long way, man. Good to see you are still working hard!

Man your comicskillz are fuckin great and this flying-house-sketch is absolutly genius!
Love the Comic series. Nice storytelling and framing. I get it without understanding a single word![]()
Huh?
"too pretentious"??
The incandescent golden hues alone make it worth the stopover.
Toothy slug, mechano-man, happy kitty, ghosty, ghouly, and floaty house... all are make smiles.
@PieMonster: thank you man! always nice to see you stop by.
@George Abraham: hehe thanks!
@Claudio Grassi: thanks!
@Christoffer: glad you liked the recent updates! Yep, those robots were drawn pretty fast -I was in a super-charged mecha-mood haha! And yes, it's a matter of visualizing an idea in terms of shapes and gesture while the image is fresh in my mind.Sketching is the part i enjoy the most and i think it shows- unfortunately it also means i rarely practice sticking to a single piece long enought to practice rendering and painting!
@AndreasM: thanks dude! great to see you pop around after so long!
@Moai: likewise my friendthank you!
@FAST ART: thanks man! love your sketchbook!
@lenzerwin: really glad to hear that, thank you!
@William b. Hand: thanks for the support Will, and glad you liked the recent doodles!
