I may have said so before, but have i told you that those comic pages look bloody awesome? Do they get published in a magazine? They should.

Been ages since I have checked in here, but it seems so did you D: where are the juicy updates?
Those pages on the previous page are epic, I concur with William and want to learn Italian now. It's European comic style at its best
Also a fan of the pizza-slice and cheese page, the linework is great. I think on the heads and other sketches you lose a lot of the life of your pencil work with your inks though, you might want to try dropping the pencil altogether for a bit and just take the plunge.

Love your work dude, it was interesting to come back after all these years and see this comic/BD turn your work has taken and I think its awesome - but i love how your keeping up all the usual stuff with digital painting and design work. I take it your getting serious in the comicing sort of world?
Really wish i could see those pages in print, they look great, but Im getting the annoying moire pattern going on - makes my eyes go wacky lol.
Keep up the great work dude, your dedication for all these years has clearly paid off.
@Hive_minD: thanks for the constant support man, its much appreciated!
@Joystx_: grazie!
@ICH: he he grazie! oh no they're not real halftones, they are done in PS- as you said i must have
got something wrong while saving it-mi fa piacere che ti piacciano!
@Quike Garcia:thank you, glad you like 'em!
@William b. Hand:hey Will! yep, it does sound weird after a bit- never heard of flaming carrot,
Bego is a worm/maggot, not a carrot thoughthanks for stopping by man, much appreciated!
@p sage: thanks man! yep, thats more or less what's going on.Don Piccione is offering help recovering bego's vespa
from the police pound in exchange with some help with a bank robbery
@AustenFM: haha yeah, gotta love those extreme italian noses!
@Carnifex: thanks man! that kind of more expressive inkwork is something i should do more often, but you either
have a clear vision of what you want to do, or you end up with a mess-its easy to get carried away.I'll be working on that!
@PieMonster: thanks man!more will come, eventually
@walnut: thanks dudee! they do actually, a self published comic magazine called "Burp!" i started with some friends
almost a year ago (4 issues so far)No big deal, but still a way to get a foot in the door.
@DanielC: thanks man, great to hear that! hope you're doing well!
@Mr.Delicious: Thanks Dave, great to see you stop by!
@Paolo13: ciao! ci trovi come rivista autoprodotta a Lucca Comics nella Self Area, oppure in giro per vari centri

@Tizzy: yo ciuffo!
@Ariel9: hehe thanks for stopping by as usual!
@Metal Fingers: thank you! i know i should translate them, but when i start i usually end up thinking

@Koto: thanks man!
@MatejaPetkovic: thanks sir, your visit is much appreciated! so glad you like my work!
@Mitze: thanks, thats great to hear!

@ThomasM: thanks for the kind words man!
@shyamshriram: hey! long time no see in here! thanks!
@anjin: grazie! he he...uhm.Let's say i've got a very long term plan regarding coloror i could say i'm waiting to reach
a good enought level with the basics before painting! or...i could mention that Frazetta started painting only when he was 23!
ok, its a load of excuses :/ i keep away from colors because, not beign used to using them, i find
it very little fun :/ I'll work on that too eventually, believe me!
@yoitisi:hey man! great to see you stop by! thanks for the kind words and suggestions man, much appreciated.I've heard
drawing straight with ink helps improving confidence (and therefore life) in drawing, and i try and do it once in a while (did it on the marker monster heads in this update), but i gotta do it more often, you're right!
@PHATandy: thanks for the kind words man! i'm trying to get serious about that is specific, yeahbut juggling with that and concept
art/other stuff all at the same time gets a bit confusing at times. You're right about the moire pattern in the previous pages, my bad-
ARGH! i'm late with my update, as usual!
some shooting/storyboards (exciting huh?) for work. These had to be done really really fast,
so they might not look pretty.I like doing this kind of work thought.
some planes (for a test) (colors by Giusy Gallizia). These were an interesting new subject. We'll see how this goes.
i have no idea (tattoos?)
siberian villain.Mostly for brush-inking practice.
random layouts (there's tons where this came from, but i rarely work more on them).Don't know why i'm sharing these really
digital stuff
random doodles pages (there's loads more of these too, but not really worth scanning)
creatures! (bottom marker one kinda looks like Nick Frost, don't you think?)
i love sketches when they are at this stage. They are still so promising at this point...
ink practice.Lots of fun, but you get easily carried away.
Hopefully the next update won't take so long- C&C appreciated as usual!
ciao!

Dude, awesome! You weren't kidding when you were saying this is a big dump, cuz it is! But fortunately this one doesn't stinkKeep it up!
Man, another awesome update! The storyboard looks nice, and those airplane images are excellent! Brilliant use of perspective on such a challenging subject! Awesome tattoos as well.
Man, stop being so darn humble. This layout sketch is great! Beautiful composition, both overall and within each panel. The first panel especially, with the starship approaching the space station, is beautifully composed. Great job telling a complete story in so few panels! Post more of these!random layouts (there's tons where this came from, but i rarely work more on them).Don't know why i'm sharing these really
Your digital stuff is looking good. I have some crits for the tribal witchdoctor guy, though. First of all, nice design. However, I don't feel that the skinniness of the upper body works with the rest of the design. All of the shapes and masses imply a big, looming, powerful character, and the skinny torso and arms counteract that. Also, the reedy garment, the beads, and the hip pouch all feel a bit too much like forms you used in previous designs. If these designs are meant to be in the same world, then that's okay, but if not, I'd differentiate them a bit more from the accessories you've used in previous designs.

It's all great -- planes, creatures, characters. Just strong strong work. The blur on that prop bugs me, though. ...Guess that was someone else's thing, though. Good colours.
•
daaaaaaammm...
those planes, and the rasputin character are killer. Awesome lines
i'm in happyland...
btw,it would be interesting to see you make a new avatar,or rather, a whole gnoll creature now
strange,i think i've seen the commercial you storyboarded for...?
spaceship approaching is so good...aswell as planes, sibirian and tattoos.
such good sense of design...

Great update, there's something cool on every page I think. I agree you should post more layout examples, they're a treat to look at. I really like the dude with chainsaw-sword on the last page.
Regarding my last crit actually, some of the sketches above a really great in their meticulous way of inking rather than trying to be very intuitive and alive -they are grapically very interesting to look at. Maybe try and figure out when what works best (no pencil if you want a lot of dynamics and live in your drawing, or pencil and careful inking for more graphic approach maybe?)

Awesome plane drawings! The use of line weight is epic and mr. Gallizia's coloring kicks ass too. Great to see a new topic from you tackled with so much precision. Really like the tattoo design things and the creature heads too. And the layout sketches are every bit worth seeing! Great stuff, pleasure to look at these as always.![]()
