Beautiful stuff, love the fact that you draw with underlaying construction. It shows that you know what you're drawing. Keep it up!![]()

Thanks for stopping by my sketchbook! I've always admired your work, your rating means a lot !! ^_^
amazing work! longest dang sketchbook i've seen i think, gonna have to wade through many pages![]()
hey guys!
it's been waaaaaaaay too long since my last update!
Time to show what i've been up too, even if some of these things already feel "old" and crappy :/
Thank you all a lot for the support, i really really appreciate every comment!
In the last couple of months i've finally finished my studies, still working on storyboards and every freelance job i can find!
I'm moving to Bologna in september and the plan is to try and do as much freelance work as possible and hopefully build a better (proper) portfolio.
btw, i'm really lucky to have been featured in the new Gorilla Artbook! -
Check it out, its awesome!
Here's a review if you wanna take a better look!
'nuff talk, here's some drawings.Sorry for the super-heavy update :/
First batch is Comics-related stuff.
First of all, the cover for the latest issue of Burp! Deliri Grafico Intestinali.
Not too happy with it, but it was fun to work on and hey, its in color!
a tribute to Dino Battaglia.Don't really like this, but it was fun to experiment and get dirty with some inks.
some sample Brendon comic pages + character sketches (script isn't mine)

![]()
some bits and bobs for Bego (no plans for him atm)
![]()
some pencil pages and sketches for Carcassa (Bego's spiritual successor?)
![]()
![]()
sketches + layout from a sample 2000AD script ("The colossal wealth of Karn Foul-eye")

some pages +layout drawn from another 2000AD sample script: "Future Shocks: Holed up" by Richard McTighe

Me and my cat in front of the computer, and some messing about with random panels

sketches for an 8 page robot short story i'm working on.
More conceptart-y stuff and sketches in the next post(s)!!![]()
"Sorry for the super-heavy update :/" Are you kidding me! I've been waiting months for this~ Great to see a huge update from your man, your sequentials are getting stronger and stronger, i dug the fight scene with the demon samurai, and those sample pages for 2000ad are cool too. Fun stylized characters, and the sci-fi tech is so easy to get lost in, i love it. but what takes the cake for me is the WWI tin can robots. They're hilarious, and their design is really apealing. Is that marker shading on the last page? Anyway, I can't wait to see where you take it!
Lastly, those panels with you and your cat ring true for my home as well. Good stuff.
It made my day to sign on as see all this, hope to see more soonAdios!
kickass sequentials
Fuck yeeeeesssssss.
Loving the World War robot skecthes, they are awesome.
Seriously good work man, love it all.
Cant wait for the next batch!
man, this sequential stuff is killer man, love it all!
Meraviglioso!! Un update finalmente! E super ciccione pure!
Buon trasferimento a Bologna! Salutami tutti! Bacioniiiii!![]()
i'll have to return in the morning to properly take this all in, but HOLY SHIT this is epic.

Oh god it's like breathing after being underwater for 6 months to see your new stuff.
That Barbarian is off da hook. And Bego rules, and always will. The new character you're developing looks awesome too... he's learned to puff/pass
Such a great update. The designs of the panels, the stories, the tension, the intrigue... I love it all.
The robots maybe had a bit of Futurama style to them?
I will come back to this feast that you've thrown on the table for many weeks, and partake over and over. Thanks Ryan. You made a lot of people's week.

finished post-apocaliptic witch (collab- my friend Lorenzo Fornaciari did most of the painting) and some head concepts.
character doodles i was too lazy to finish. Some of these are really cheesy, i know.
character lineup
creatures!
and some more marker doodles
more sketches in the next update!
Cheesy huh? You're lucky im an avid formaggio aficionado~ These sketches are very pleasing to the pallete. I love those squid-troopers, and all of the character sketches are getting my gears turning. You've got a great knack for creating robots and other mechanical beasties, those tribal bots are freaking neat! Tons of fun patterns and shapes.
Also, love the shotgun totin', fez wearin' toad, as well as the freaky two legged hippo! Great imagination sir, i hope there's a part 3 to this sketch dump![]()

Yet an other wonderful update -
Lik it all and the the squidtroopers, the first two post-apocaliptic witches & the toad even more so.
If I have to add one thing as for criticism - it would be that the colour/texture on the gnoll - the blue fur looks very unison, no rough feathers and scars ~ but I thought that a quick paintover (not all good, just some ideas to add some discolouration).
Several areas are way too random/splotchy but ideas were more important than polish (don't like the face I did and too much saturation)![]()
& I decided to do a line art piece (actually two) due to your prior update (but also based of people like AustemFM etc)
I hope you like >> LINK 1<< & LINK2 (an overdraw of Nickybeats DSG)

Whahaha, awesome updates! Great to see you are back! Man, i love the variety of creatures, color and characters! Keep it up! Not much to crit here!
Your sketchbook is still one my top favorites, man! Lovin' all the new updates. Your pencils just get better and better and never cease to be a blast to look through. You can certainly draw your ass off! And I'm excited now that you're dipping into a bit of the paints! Thanks for the inspiration! Hope you're well.
Hey Ciuf!
Potresti cominciare a lavorare x i pokemon! XD
Mi piace molto come hai inchiostrato quei 3 personaggi-creature in basso a sinistra nell'ultimo foglio, consideralo x le tue pagine a fumetto, rende molto bene!
Man.. Amazing, both updates.. incredible work. Keep it coming!!!!

wowsahs!! awesome sketches! great lines, and love the character work. the sequences are good too, but perhaps some more changes in the camera angles could enhance certain parts. (more dramatic angles for the fighting stuff). but the continuity and consistency is great!

There's got to be a law against throwing too much awesome at people at once... like for instance, I'm just going back looking at your robot adventure and nearly crapping my pants.
Then there's this awesome thing.... not to mention all the pencils and character designs of late. Gotta take your work in small doses, there's just not enough proper time to do it quickly.
Thanks for being here and for being an inspiration. I don't get the idea that someone who produces stunning work like yours would make anyone want to quit... I think if anything it should inspire people to pick up their favorite implement and start drawing with it.
Thanks again.

Great to see more of the grins, pissed off tough guys, extreme expressions and sharp jawlines that make your work look familiar.
On the Brendon pages, I love the backdrops, gestures, and how you use slanting viewing ankles. The whole sequence looks dynamic and captivating, the feel of movement in the fight is great too.
Carcassa reminds me a lot of Clint Eastwood. I guess it's that grin showing the lower teeth you seem to use often. It looks good on one character but on the Karn Foul-eye character sketches many of them have it. It kind of makes it look like they all have the same personality. The sketch on the lower corner of the sheet with Carcassa sketches looks full of movement, would love to see it taken further.
The details on the Holed Up pages are wild... So much to look at in each frame! The first frame is my favorite. I love the steam-punk feel in the ship and how the front part is shaped like a mask. The character of the villain is also very well defined in the pictures alone.
The flowy lines on your character sketches are just incredible. I wish I had such confidence in designing some day. Keep them coming whenever time permits.![]()
