Shouldn't this be in the sketches section...?
Not that the work is bad, some are out of proportion, but I really think these should not be in the finished art sec.

Why post sketchbook samples in the finished section?

Ey, I like the lighting on some of these. You need to pay attention on forms so you can render/shade better though, cuz some look very haphazard ( i.e. girl sleeping) Always remember that forms that turn away from the light receive less of it, than forms that turn toward it.

BTW post these on the sketchbook section.

you have an excellent excellent controll of your values, specifically on the nose page but if i were looking at just the draughtsmanship i would judge it at beginner level. i would guess (just guesing) that this is the result of you working from a lot of photographs and less from life. i suggest therefore you work outside of where you normally work, im predicting at the computer, and work from the world around you. it will tighten up your eye. you dont have to worry though, because atleast for me its the values that is hard. getting something to look legit is a bit easier. very nice work

Some of you are truly dedicated to keeping these forums organized. I mean, to sacrifice your posting energies on the placement of these pieces of work instead of commenting on their quality is a courageous decision.

I do appreciate the actual comments. The first and last drawings were both from life, so I was unable to develop these drawings any further because the models moved: the girl woke up, and I had to leave.
