    People from washington DC.

Hi, I am going to washington DC for 2 or three days and I have heard it has lots of good museums, I was wondering if there are good art museums to visit. Can you recommend the best place to visit.
I would also like to look for some art material that is difficult to find here, can anyone recommend a place in washington that has a good range of material and that is not too expensive?
I would really apreciate if someone from there could help me.
    Thanks.

You owe it to yourself to visit the National Gallery of Art, period. It has an overload of great art: 3 vermeers, plenty of sargents, rembrandts, and all those other awesome blokes. I'd also visit the museum of natural history while you're there and look at dinosaur bones. You won't regret it. Just make sure you start early, because time flies and everything closes at 5 pm. Best of all, there's no admission fee for anything! Just walk in and enjoy.

If you're driving down and going close to Hagerstown, MD I'd say visit the museum there. It has a surprisingly great selection, and the small town looks really cool too.

I got no clue about where to get art supplies here. Good luck on that.

Hi, thanks a lot I have been looking up for stuff in the internet and had already decided to see those two and also the space museum. Though I had no idea the admission was free. That's great .
    Thanks
