the digi pencil sketches are really beautiful (pilot design rocks) - do you make them so clear by continualy erasing and redrawing or use second final layer over "scribble"??

as someone said before you should do some more figure drawing studies - your character "acting" is imho the weakest part of your otherwise beautiful renderings (the jungle pic is the right example of this)

redehlert : thanks. Tried to go easy on speculars... I sort of get carried away with those usually. Maybe I could have added a little more though.

EDIT : Libor : we posted at the same time .. yeah you're right , I definitely gotta work on that! especially on speed paints (which 95% of the time are completely semi automatic doodles with no planning whatsoever..), I don't take enough time to build my characters!

About the line stuff : yeah that's kinda it.. I do a very rough.. then a bit less rough.. and the final over that .. not erasing though, using layers.

I absolutely love those huge blocky shapes you used for the last update. Very impressive.

btw, there are some times when you use a beehive texture(at least thats what it looks like to me). Is that a custom brush that you paint with or some texture below the image, or are you physically going in to render every little hexagon.

hey you got some sweet stuff.

The roadside.jpg I would crop a little on the bottom about just below the light "part" to suit my own compositonal taste and then frame it and hang it on my wall.

cotron : thanks, glad you like. Yeah that's definitely a thing I try to do, beeing able to suggest things to the viewer rather than imposing it.

sandworm : what I said to OBX. And those splatters come from photos. I put that splatters in black and white as my brush, and then all kind of tweaking of the custom brushes parameters.. Angle variation, opacity on pencil pressure, etc...
