the latest self portrait is great max! the female gestures have a nice energy, are they from life?

nope their for photos, I havent been able to go lifedrawings this week
but I will soon, and I agree I screwed her pelvis torso dinamics bad, real
bad, ill see that I do better on the next one.

Jens: Im glad you diged the inks as I draw inspiration from you alot of times!
and about the critics , you did not sounded to harsh, its right on the spot,
my desing skills are still on dipers, and I do agree, his armor is not really all
that intersting, I gotta work on that, count on it, the next one will
look better desing wise, or ill die trying!

The digital color studies are really nice, and the pencil sketches too.

I really like it when people just fill up sketch pages with all this neat stuff, I tend to just add one character and that's all, so it's really cool that you're doing that. It makes the pages much more interesting.

I come in here time and time again but I have no idea what to say anymore, Max! I mean, you're growing and your doing the things that you need to be doing. All you need is time. Everything's getting more and more solid. I see that you have similar troubles (as I do) with drawing figures from your head. I have a hard time posing them and then grounding them to even the simiplest of enviros. Any tips or hints to help a brother out? I guess I just need to draw them more. I'm also having trouble being original with my armor designs, costumes, etc. I guess I just need to sketch more stuff, eh? Hopefully MTL will get me all fired up. Anyhow, I love the inks as everyone else does. It's just much easier to see your confidence when you do inks. You have to be. It forces you to be confident, huh? Keep those up. The SP in your bed was amazing. It's been great to watch your grow over the past couple years. It'll even more amazing to see where you go. Hopefully we'll meet and draw sometime soon! In this life or the next! Ha!

times Im like, Oh well, hes doing real good, studing pushing himself
what else could I say, so since I belive that motivation is one
hell of a powerfull tool, I just write! KEEP IT UP! cuase dam

so thanks for the props, and yeah Im still
a long way before I get my desing sence and line confindence
to a decent level, but ill get there, inks do really have helped me
not to be so shy when doing pencils, in the sage words of yoda:

Pretty faces are hard as hell, but i would venture to say you did a pretty good job with that.at my level, i have few crits but one thing i like doing is putting a bit more detail into hair. but thats just a personal taste thing. looks super man.

Im not happy with various part of him right now, but I feel

Ok most of this was done on the street, line work from ppl that
I saw, and the subtle shading was done with a cheap ballpen

Ok an acrylic hands study done in 7 hours, for this one I glued
a piece of gessoed cardboard to my sketchbook and painted on it,
because the paper that is made of is to thin to support paint, it was
fun, I think Im gonna do this more often!!
