The idea itself could be pretty funny, but I think you need to start of with some simpler ambitions. This is a very difficult painting to do well for almost anybody, there's too much going on to really pick out one or two main things...Study anatomy, study some color theory, study artists that you like. Practice rendering in pencil or black and white. Good luck with your journey!
Sorry- But I gotta say this doesn't look finished, so it doesn't really belong in this seciton... The Helicopter has my wondering alot. It's... Bending?
I agree. It's pretty raw at present, particularly the background.

The lights of the building aren't showing on the womans body at all, and the left helicopter is bent somehow... would you be able to post up the construction lines you did for this, so we can work from there?

Thanks for the crits and advice.
As for construction lines here's what I started with:

hahahaha, that's funny
The sketch, while simplistic, is still more effective than the painting. As others have already said, don't get too far ahead of yourself just because you're anxious to jump into something "finished." Take it in steps...anatomy, light and shadow, grayscale rendering, etc. Is that as far as you took the sketch before jumping into photoshop? If so, you're making the work more difficult than it need be.
