Well drats. I don't get a chance to draw real-life nudes any more. Good gestures and longer studies though...

nice, intern.. looks like the watts training is really kicking in.. start working more in the light side of the form, but still keeping the the overall relationship of light to dark.. not easy, but its the next level for you..

damn i didn't see this thread before, i posted this on it's own thread but i'm just going to post my stuff up here.

the blues on this beastie didn't reproduce so well, they arent' that bright, darker, more subdued and sit a lot more behind the figure.. but outside of that a pretty good reproduction.

i got another on the way, it's a 2 day, it'll be done tomorrow. posted hopefully tomorrow or wednesday.

MainLoop-Love the energy, gesture and feel of your drawings. real great images. what medium is that conte? charchoal?

Intern-good form and lighting. personally i'd like to see some more contrast and some background or some sort of environment behind the figure. good stuff tho.

Love all the things you guys have posted here, they all look great. Hope to get to the level you all are some day, so I'll be back with more!

    Anyway, first some quick gestures

    5 minute drawings

and a few 20 minute drawings

    wesruv,

You have a nice feel for the pastels though I have to say I actually like the vibrant colors in the one you did above.

le_fish - those are superb gesturals and i'm loving the ink work in the first piece. the others have great line quality - just the right amount.
    cheers!

wesruv, redehlert, Autarkis - Thanks for the kind words.
Main Loop - Asians? what are you talking about? There is no way I am going to conquer cyberspace. How can someone conquer something that doesn't exist.

Wow Flynt you got mad skills! I checked out your website and the image on the frontpage had me confused, I thought it was a photograph. Please do post more!
