About me:
I'm 30, and really I've let my art skills fall seriously behind. I haven't been able to do anything I felt really proud of in over six or seven years mostly due to lack of practice, which in turn was due to being laid of 5 times from five different jobs, moving three times, and getting married.

ANYhow, I have an undergraduate from RIT in Illustration, and a Masters in Art Education. I'm an art teacher for k-3, and feel like I'm not performing as well as someone who is an art teacher should.

I have endeavored to learn how to use my new Graphire tabled that replaced my old (OLD) Wacom that was half the size, and Photoshop CS 8. My goal with this sketchbook is to get feedback on ways I can improve and for general digital practice.

I want to work towards several final pieces, and I dunno if I'll do them here, or in the WIP sub forum. Beginning sketches might go in here.

ANY feedback will be appreciated. I'm really intimidated by some of the talent around here, particularly since many of you are about ten years my junior or more and are way, way more talented than I.

I also have a deviantArt account under the same name at bijutsu-san.deviantart.com/ but most of the work is fairly old, or stuff I don't feel amazing about anymore. I want to surpass myself.
