Yeah.. I still got nothing to critique. I'm learning more from you than you are from me I'm afraid. I swear I'm gonna figure out how you do such great lines- in sketching are they done in a single stroke or do you build them up?

Also, what kind of inking pens are those in that pic?

    cool stuff Interceptor!

I like the intense detail and the thick outlines of your drawings.

I notice you tend to draw your characters with very short humerus bones (the part of the arm that connects the shoulder with the forearm). Is that intentional? Also, in some of your incomplete full-figure drawings, I can see that you usually don't sketch out the entire figure first before laying down details. You draw the head, and work your way down, putting in the details as you go along? I think that's why you seem to run out of room in some of the drawings.

But nonetheless, these are kickass drawings. Very Mucha-ish. Beautiful and sensual drawings.

    I like em'!

    Keep posting!

Thanks alot you guys. Parker.. I'm going to take your advice on the humerus bone.. and roughing out the whole pic for space more..

And RedFIVE. I'm learning tons from you. I was suprised to see you in out sketchgroup, because you're pro, right? Anyways.. the inking pens.. the middle is the steadlet triplus fineliner.. and top is the steadler mars professional.. on the bottom is just my pentel penci..l.

Of all your stuff, I really like your lineart. Nice hair, nice details and line variation. I like clean lineart, but I can't decide on what tools to use. Nice of you to include them in the picture.

Holy moly man! The picture looks even better now that you inked it. I really like the implied boot design. You did a great job varying line weight too, now on to Ch.O.W.#2.

The CHOW#2 is looking good. Are you going to color this one. My one comment is that I don't see anything that would be considered the clothing of a merchant. He looks more like a pioneer or woodsman. I'll also agree on the legs they look a bit funky Maybe some folds and creases on his pants would help a lot but since the ink is done I'm not sure if you can still make that kind of a change. Also try to make an uneven ground for him to stand on since the one legs looks a little short

Nah it's not fucked up. You just have a few set backs. It's still workable. Things like a crest or ornamented weapon can show him as being the head of a merchants house. Now finish it I want a file to save for inspiration.

start of a new picgot inspired by a song called "Promised Land". The idea I got from it is a very serene, secret garden graveyard.. I want to see how much detail I can put into it..

Wow! Wow! this is great! love the bold confident lines in your lineart!! love your touch of color to your sketchs...it gives them energy! also i love the pic of "jumper" where she's crouching over. lovely. though i wonder whats in her hand...she looks like she should be holding a Zippo there. seriously though, great stuff!

tensai I want to color it very badly... but for now I'm sticking with the lineart. I'll go back and color all these illustrations later when I feel comfortable with watercolors

    There's that Gatery kid again

I like the hatching that's been applied but the face looks smudged. try and use an kneeded eraser to get a better tonal range on that smudging.

And yes, we will meet in the octagon for a red hot rumble, haha.

Wertle I'm afraid I do just jump right into it. And at the moment I'mstuck, and I have no idea where to go with it.
