An update ! And what an update, Inty' ! I will not crit your character, but will focus a bit more on your last sketch. First, bravo for the point of view and the stance, you allready made the hardest part of your picture for me. Her right harm is well build/draw but a bit too long/big for me. Her left shoulder need a bit more work, but the "shortcut"[1] of her harm is very good !

No crit aside that. It's really a strong one Loren, keep working at it.
    From France with love.
    Julien.

[1] Is "shortcut" the good word ? Sorry for my bad english. Hope that made sense.

Loren Great progress on Kell, and cute robot, as a bit of Julien Flavor.
For the New Ramona in action, Like I said about the left arm grabbing a branch or it's rested on a rock, and the right arm, the shoulder can be a bit less round like cut it in more on the right, if you don't understand I will show you later. Also the right wrist holding the axe, this is been a on going prob for you lately, the wrist is a bit thick, shave off some of it on the top. The face is great but you could be a bit more accurate for the perspective. I will take some time today or Sun, to show you what I'm talking about, easier then words. ok Loren have fun Camping this weekend.
I'm very proud of you on this new Ramona, you really showed that you have learned a lot, now lets push it to become a kickass Illustration.
have fun and talk later .

Thanks, buddy!! Tiffany suggested I change that bad arm anyways. Make her holding onto a branch or balancing on a rock or something. So I'll be changing that anyways Glad you noticed it, though it IS way too long.

And the word "shortcut", i think you mean 'foreshortening'? The perspective of her arm, right?

Thanks, sucka! I saved the conversation last night with your suggestions for turning the sketch into a full illustration. I can't wait to see the drawover you're going to do of the face. It's weird, I know . I'm not used to drawing so small!!! the whole sketch is no larger than my hand. But work goes soooo much quicker.

And thanks. I can't wait to go camping. Especially the ice caverns! I'll show you pics when I get back!!

ps. I did'nt realize I posted the sketch so large. It looked alot smaller on my home monitor.

    house of bacon? weeee.
your drawings look great man, id say work more on your colors and perhaps exagurate some forms more. think about adding intresting detail, in for example the clothes and weapons. like patterns, zippers, color change, *more folds?*, shape design, prints, damaged weapons, hand covers, fancy shapes etc. just a few things that i think could help your designs get a bit more interesting.
your form looks good so keep at it >) have a great time
    peace

    Hey interC!
I think I once enountered you on... *gasp*... nexopia. I left a filty comment on your page, something like: I am a better artist than you. I was wrong. I am sorry

Your art is evolving well... you're improving in a big way. Can;t wait to see more of your stuff.
As the pattern gets more intricate and subtle being swept along is no longer enough.

    Dude!
When did you get to be so damn good! Your drawings are looking really good, and teh anatomy on that last sketch of Ramona is awesome and totally better than I could ever do! It definately looks like your pushing hard, I just want to see more work! I'm sure you're sketching a lot more than your showing, because your work is definately showing leaps and bounds of improvement!

    Cheers mate!
