I'd like to start out by saying that those are some lovely bridgman studies. Great lines in them, beautiful. But...your facial proportions are...off. Always, always, always, map out the correct proportions first, before you place the features. If you don't know the proportion rule: 1. draw oval 2. draw a line right through the center, this is where the eyes go. 3. divide the bottom half into thirds, with the bottom of the bottom third being the chin, the one above that being the bottom of the lip, and the one above that being the base of the nose.
Although these aren't the exact proportions for every face, all faces are guaranteed to generally follow these proportions. Hope this helps! cheers!
Goog - thanks! I do agree with your comment, my faces are off and thats why i have been trying to work on them in this update, hopefully these have the correct proportions

Im not dead!!! My Excuse - been on holiday for a week
But no replies, oh dear
A update on the face - i dont think the neck is right at all

The neck doesn't look too bad, but only you know how it's supposed to look. If you just fill in the little white gap where it meets the jawline and hair, I think it'll look a lot better, very quickly.
I'm more concerned with the eye being pressed too far into the middle of her head, too close to the nose. Probably too late to fix it here, just something to keep an eye on next time.
You're doing a really nice job using color to shape her face.
max1975 - thanks for the comment, i can now see that that gap needs to be filled in, ill do that right away. The eyes were what i copied from the photo, but ill keep it in mind!

Look at some facial anatomy stuff, it seems like you are a little inconsistent at proportions and some anatomy, but you have great improvement, so keep at it, your environments are cool but seem a little bland or generic, do something that no one has seen before, be creative and try to stretch ideas
that being said something is quite charming about this SB and it is a nice stop among all of the others
but ya I have updated a few times and it would be cool to see what you think mate
look forward to hearing from you and stay at it

The photoshop landscape is nicely done. It could use some more refinement, but it's looking like a very solid beginning. The sailboat looks good too--you're really doing some nice things with color lately.
keep drawing these reffed portraits. Your getting better every day. Sorry for the lack of crit towards your oilpaintings. That is something that I know nothing about.
wow your improvement is amazing, very good stuff.
keep it up.
