Here's the new version, it's more interactive.. well the animals are more interactive with the font. And I feel the font is less sloppy looking now.

Yes, an assignment. We had to take any three consecutive letters from the alphabet and illustrate things to go along with the letters. Yes, I know mine is rather bland, and not too creative, but I really liked the character/animal designs I came up with. Tear it up, crit/comments, whatever. I'll take it all.

I lke the designs too, but not the color, especially the greenish yellow of the giraffe against the mid value purple.

Cutest lil' thing I've seen in a while. I do like your animal designs but I think they could use some refinement. I think the F and fox work the best for placement and design. The lines are clean and your simplification is good. On the giraffe's legs, the one that is pointy breaks the style of the other three. It may work better if it looked like the other hind leg. Also the G has some angles in it. For the horse, I think its legs could be more simplified, perhaps making them the same thickness throughout instead of tapering. Sort of like My Little Pony legs, and not bending so much.

Overall I think you have a good illustration here, it just needs some tweaking. I hope you get good marks on your assignment.

I'm working on it some more, I've changed the font and made the animals more interactive with the letters, instead of just floating on top of or beside the letters. So, yeah. It'll be done soon, I'm going to try to do the whole alphabet, it'll be quite a feat to be undertaken by me, when I really only ~have~ to do 3. I think when it's finished it'll be a great portfolio piece, something to get me hired somewhere.

Watch your letters, they're sloppy atm. Especially the G. Maybe if you changed the colors of the letters to a lower saturation, you could really play with the brighter colors and animals. And perhaps you could add some shadows to the whole, makes them less floaty.
