Looking for an android

I need art for a book cover, featuring an android. Doesn't need to be doing anything, just a nice shot, face on, or any pose that's more creative.

This is a pretty open-ended description because I am not looking for anything that is overly specific. I will add the book title over this, and the android does not have to be of a specific design, just a humanoid.

It could be sitting, standing, running, whatever. NOT funny or "cute" Just as believable as possible. If there is a futuristic city background, that would be nice too.

Please let me see a sample that you would suggest and how much you would charge me.

I am willing to pay a little to license this. I am not looking for exclusive rights to it, and I am not looking for something to be originally created - anything you've already got on hand that would fit the bill would work. I am the author of the book, and I am seriously considering self-publishing it. Thus, I would need my own cover art. I am a graphic artist myself, so I don't need anything other than the image itself.

Hello Pixel 8, I would like to work on a cover for you. I did a rough sketch of an android sitting in a subway. I would like to do a painting or potentialy a 3d model composited with a painted background. I belive it would be a fun project to work on, let me know if you would like to commision an image:

OMG! How many @##!* good artists are there on this site??? Well OK then.

I PM'd a few of you guys and let you know where I'm at on this. I don't want to scare away any possible bidders, but I'm not about to let a bunch of amazing artists hang either!

So, I'm going to close this out tomorrow (Thursday). So far, I'm planning on going with Asotirovski for it, but I wanted to allow anyone who wanted to seriously consider this to do so.

Like I said, I'm paying out of my own pocket, so it's not exactly a high dollar corporate job for anyone!!!

Anyhow, if you've got any art, can you please post it, or a link to it?? Some of you guys' work are extremely good, but I can't figure out where you might have something on it that I might be able to use, unless you were looking to create original artwork??

Here's relevant samples of a sci-fi scene and of a robot - I'd be more than happy to do an original illustration of a more human-like android for you, but these just give you an idea of what my futuristic work looks like.

Asotirovsky has agreed to do the work for me, so I'm going to go ahead and stick with him on this. You should check out his portfolio!
