nice detail on the upper body but the legs seem rushed. both lacking details of the upper part and proportionally wrong (too long).
i like the warhammer kinda anatomy distortion but it can be misleading to start with. try to do more realistic proportions/anatomy in your characters. then the stylized anatomy will be both easier and more realistic.
i hope this helps. keep it up dude, just DRAW!!!...
and welcome to CA![]()

my old sketchbook
Actually I just draw this one since I really like warhammer world... maybe I was to ambitious![]()
You noticed well since I've spent way much time on the upper part.
I suppose you're right, I'm gonna try someting more realistic for my next sketch... even if it's less fun... it must be the way to improve...![]()
thanks for your reply dude... I can tell I'm gonna like this forum !![]()
marines heads are proportionately small compared to their power armour, but not that small. youve also drawn his head front on, whereas it would have been better in a 3/4 view. its fine, really, and the weird perspective works in this case, but the head is your problem child. as for his lower half, why not add some of those (litany?) seals like that on his chestpiece? used to be put on their ankles, as well. you could draw the laurel wreath insignia on one of the kneepads also (i suggest his left knee). lastly, remember they have a lot of seam-work. that being the armour isnt single pieces, but is segmented. add some shallow grooves running up the inner side of his shins, some on the front of his thighs, etc.
oh yeah, welcome to, hope you enjoy your stay here!
