What's everyone's faviorte beverage?

Call me plain... call me boring... but I gotta go for the good ol' cheap Budweiser!

It's cheap, gets the job done, and doesn't taste half-bad. It's a great after-work-drink-but I don't want to get drunk type of drink.

When I'm going for taste, and have guests over... nothing beats Newcastle

I can't drink like how I did during the college years, but I think that's good. One beer as a night cap. It's great.

BTW i dont drink alcohol. water juice and milk is fine by me

ya i NEVER post art. i post lame topics about women and beer. i also dont go to an art school for 30+hrs a week actually getting good.

and no i dont want a a prize for not drinking. i just wanted to stay semi on topic

holy crap intern, you have a serious problem. and i know this is not about me, or my posts. (also, i didn't say you NEVER post any art. you're art-to-lounge ratio isn't any better than mine). also, how do you know that I don't go to art school? I do, about 30 hours a week like you. I go to 2 different art schools.

i say this out of concern, not anger, but i think you have a problem. you have singled me out for some reason, because you're safe through the anonymous idenity the internet provides. there are dozens of people in the lounge who never post any art. there are dozens of other people who post topics like "i am bored" and "fuck social security" and other non-art related topics. but that's okay, beause it's the lounge where "anything goes" as written in the description. however, do you ever hound them? no, you don't. so you dislike beer & women? okay, everyone's different. but 90% of the art posted on concept art depict women in what you would discribe "insulting to women." most of my art is not like that. yet, you've picked me to be your pin-cushion. i think you have a shitty day at work, or school or whatever, so you go on to concept art and harass the person you most dislike. that's... that's sad man.

i think this all started when i disagreed with some minor thing with you on that old harry potter thread. ever since then, you've held a grudge. but this grudge is not about me, it's about something in your own, actual life.

maybe your girlfriend dumped you for a guy who resembles my avatar?

i know that jetpack guy is your friend, so i've e-mailed him to let him know that something might be wrong in your personal life, and maybe he can offer some support. i met jetpack in real life once or twice, I know he's a good guy.

and, i wish you well in your art school. i attend an animation school and a fine art school in los angeles, and I work part-time teaching high school. I too have a very busy schedule/life, but at the end of the day I like to go on to concept art and post art and talk about stuff I like (hot babes and beer) on the forums.

whatever the problem is, you can't let it sublimate to other people or objects. it's unhealthy way of coping with your problems. i suppose taking it out on ParkerD at coneptart.org is better than taking it out on real people in real life... but it doesn't help, either.

What is your problem? Seriously, this is "The Lounge", not everyone wants to talk about art and art related things 24/7.

Just chill and stop pissing and moaning about the "good old days", you talk about people not wanting to learn, so what? The only person you should be concerned with learning is yourself, so stop complaining it's annoying as fuck.

Hey Mat, it's cool, if there's a place for random chit-chat, it's here in the lounge. There are mods for the decision of what belongs and what doesn't. I kind of like the random threads you find in here. No worries man! Networking is all part of this art thing, it keeps us from the vaccuum of our studios and anti-social lives.

And as far as beer goes, I like Guinness & Red Stripe.

lol naw i didnt care about the harry potter thread. that was a good discussion. and ya Mike is a good guy. but you seem to be trying to find friends here not trying to better yourself in art which is annoying cause this place used to be about getting better in art and not about meeting people over the internet.

okay, man. i tried to be sincere and honest.

but how do you know I'm not trying to better myself? I try EVERY day. I may not POST art everyday, because most of the stuff I make is not good. I only post art when I've done something that warrants posting. If you have a problem with that, just put me on your ignore list.

in addition, you don't seem to be bothered by the dozen people on here who don't post any art at all. you don't seem to be bothered by the other dozen people who post non-art related threads.

And no, I'm NOT trying to meet anyone on this forum. Least of all you, so don't be confused.

Whatever the REAL problem is, because it's got nothing to do with me, you need to confront THAT problem... ParkerD on conceptart.org isn't the problem, it's someone or something else.

how do you expect to get GOOD crits here if all you post is you good stuff? start posting your normal stuff and someone on here "hell maybe even me" can point something out that would help you. eveyrone does more bad then good but you'll learn more from crits on the bad then a slight change in the good. just a suggestion tho

i only want to see this site get better, and those on this site get better. so when someone APPEARS to look like hes into the community of this place as the majority of the site is then i think the community as a whole should either get that guy out of here or lead them in the right dirrection. since i have no say here all i can do is post rants to hopefully call attention to a situation.

P.S. start a sketchbook and post are skecthes. serioulsy is the best place for crits and help.

I like coffee and lime Jarritos, but not together.

I would probably drink a beer if it smelled okay, but most of the ones I've smelled so far have smelled like piss. I do drink my coffee black if that's manly enough...
