I hope you enjoy. also I'm very open for anyone to critic. I would very much so like to know how I can improve and get better.
    Thanks to all.

Go to the end to see my latest stuff.

Also this first picture was part of a project I was working on for a bit.

These are random cartoon heros I pulled out of my head one day.

These are from when I was in school I drew these in class, I know they are not very good but I liked the quirkiness

hey man. you asked if i would come and visit your sb so i did.

Well, you just started out and im not really sure where you want to go with your art, i think thats something you have to find out for yourself still, which is a good thing. you have fun with it at the moment so that cool. if you want to get better though, you need to set goals for yourself and analyze what kind of studies are best for you to do...

for now, i see you have some standard issues.. you have to understand that when you want to draw a creature realisticly, you have to have the skills to put 3 dimensional shapes on your (2 dimensional ) canvas/sheet of paper. in order to draw these (complex shapes of anatomy) you have to simplify them. how? for example think of a head as a sphere. If you are able to render the sphere, then its a lot less difficult to draw a head. etc.. the sample i send with this message tells you how to render most shapes.. also, i would recommend to choose your lighting from left above behind, so you dont have to think about that for now.. study the attachement and try to draw them. then later you can try to draw these basic geometric shapes in perspective

i would recommend to go to yoitisi's island if you want to understand more of this stuff

    good luck

quite the creative one are'nt you?

buy an anatomy book/ save alot of anatomy pics from internet and print the folder
and study it, draw it etc... it's dead boring but it needs to be done to draw humans better...
-.- i need to get myself to study more... good luck.

hey there :-) quite a promising start, you seem to have a pretty good sense of imagination there only advice i have is the one that you probably already got, you have to make it the other way round - first draw from reference/life and make it a priority to study this as best you can, and only then will you be able to give all your imaginative drawings the realistic edge you need good luck, though, i'll be visiting your sb more often

    cheers, dave

You have a great imagination but there are different details that you could take care of, at your own pace. Those different details have been pointed out, you have got good feedback and suggestions in this same page, so give them a try that I'm sure your cool designs will benefit, a lot.

Alright mate, keep it up! and thanks a lot for visiting my SB and leaving such kind words.

    Cheers!

    Paint practice.

This work was an experimentation to punch out the work.

Can someone please tell me how to put space in-between each image within one post?

here is the new way I've been trying things atm!

I've been trying a new way that I am really enjoying doing to concept and that is to just speed paint/get messy with my style to begin with and then to go back and work into it.

    one I played around with

I had some fun with this one. I think I enjoy painter a bit more than Photoshop because of the realistic brushes.

    New little messarounds

Corel painter is so wicked I wish I could get 12 to work on my comp every time I try and install it I can't get past the licencing agreement because I click the next button and nothing happens makes me sad but oh well I'm doing fine with Corel painter 11 for now. anyways these are a couple doodles I've done I trying to get the hold of colour which I fail so horribly with.
