    Talking Some assembly required

After lurking this site for months now, and seeing all of this wonderful art and feeling kind of hopeless, I finally got up the courage to make a sketchbook.
I'm a hs senior and want to major in animation and/or concepts. I'm having a hard time deciding between an out-of state trade school or an in-state uni with a nice art program...

Here are little bits done during free time at school/ art class

    Thanks Falchion and Icedearth15876!

More stuff done during school. The skull was from a fake skeleton in Anatomy class.

I'm having trouble painting scales for the fish. Anyone have any pointers?

    Finished with the fish-bowl... thing.
It feels like there's something missing, but I don't know what.

    Texture was "concrete" from cgtextures.com

It's been a while since I've been here on CA. So many things are happening in life. I didn't practice as much as I wanted to this week.

Here's a request from a girl I babysit. It's "see no evil, speak no evil, etc" in Latin, since I teach her Latin every Wednesday or so:

And here's an ex-art project. This was just a tiny-tiny pilot for a much bigger scene in color, but I don't think I'm going to get that done in time... Used Easytoon
