Lightbulb Hello, I'm a newbie artist in development...

    Well... ya...
A little bit about myself before my pictures, I'm a a fan of the Ultima RPG series. So I like to draw the characters from games. I draw with a manga/anime (whatever) style, but I'm looking into converting towards a realistic drawing style for my characters. It has been a while since the last time I drew, so I'll post a couple of pictures and some finished CG's from the past and see if I can get a few critiques from them. Also I like posting on forums late at night around where I live (Or technically, early this morning at the moment of this typing). Well here it goes...

My first sketch I present was the front profile, (or head ,or something) of Iolo Fitzowen, the bard and archer from the Ultima games. I admit, this was back when I was big on drawing with manga ... even the smily is manga-ish...
    Well here it is:

I made a CG of it later that week:
(The Pipe on his weird pictured name is supposed to be a lute, but what the heck. He does enjoy a smoke every now and then.)

    Curse my manga drawing

Well, so far I can say his head looks a bit bigger than what his body was going to be like... And the eyes are too manga-ish and seem like he has long eye lashes, if he were realistic I would make more wrinkles and no outline to the CG. I have to find a program that makes CG graphics less outlined and more realistic or at the least, comic book.

Well, so far that is all I can show at the moment, need to find the others. By the way, this is the Iolo that came before he started to go bald.

So, critique? Comment? I'll reply as soon as I get back to it.

    Hi.

It's nice that you have something from back when you were into drawing manga, but that really is neither here nor there. You should be posting the stuff you are drawing NOW. No one really wants to see old stuff dragged out of drawers and stuff that is then uploaded for "Show and Tell."

Don't "find" other stuff, go DRAW other stuff. Keep the old drawings on your fridge.

Hope to see some new work from you soon.
